Going so early in May (5th for a week)meant not all restaurants were open but there was still plenty of choice together with few people on the beaches.

Advice: Lovely, relaxing, everything you need around you in terms of beach, restaurants, supermarkets.
Activities: Varelli(?) just up the road/family fish restaurant up slope old Skiathos town

Advice: If you have walking problems then this place is ideal, flat and very accessible.
Activities: All the tabernas are suber, Syrtaki, Paradisio, Appolossa, wonderful food.
