Billed as a 5 star hotel,at best it is a 3 star,where do i start,we came back today 9/6/2008,This hotel is mainly catering for germans ,austrians and dutch tourists,As brits we felt outnumbered and overlooked especially by a certain menber of the resturant staff who for some unknown reason did,nt seem to like brits at all ,very rare for a greek The food was fine though a good variety,and plenty of it,though not all to our liking but it,s that german thing again.Beware of buying drinks with your evening meal they are on the expensive side.Breakfast has a wide variety with cereals,continental and a version of english breakfast suprisingly served from 7;30 until 10;00 ther was 11 in our party and we never got offered a coffee refil at breakfast although the other guests did.We had cause to complain to the new hotel manager because of this who apologised for this and bought us all a free drink,even though the said waiter apologised we feel it was under duress,and served us through gritted teeth,Right the rooms next,clean and comfortable with free aircon and t.v fridge and hairdryer,large wardrobe and a shower that will blow you over! no complaints there.Next the pool your standard hotel pool .Pool bar very expensive,pool leads directly onto the beach,but while the sunbeds around the pool are free if you can get your towels on before the germans,the sunbeds on the beach will cost you 7 euroes per day.One good thing about the hotel is it,s just families and couples no cheesey quavrers,thats ravers to me and you,it,s nice and quiet in the evening if thats your thing .If you go out after your evening meal beware the resturant touts who do your head in a good tip is to walk past them with a toothpick in your mouth,a tout told me that if you want them to,leave you alone.A quick mention for the chambermaids who change your sheets and towels every day a friendly calemarea and they are well happy Also if you want to rent a scooter or quad visit dennis outside the hotel a really genuine man who will not rip you off and a scooter really is the best way to see the islans and very safe,there is also a laundrette outside the hotel who will wash a large bag of washing for 4 euros
