The holiday was absolutely brilliant, I couldn't have asked for better views, people, weather etc etc.
The reps were so helpful. I went alone, so it was a tad scary but met the greatest people and Noula (hotel owner) was like a holiday mum, always at the pool bar for a chat! It was fantastic.
Best Bars: Kiss Bar, Magic Mushroom, Avalon, and take a trip to Laganas to get the very best if you love clubbing as well.
Best Restaurant: Zeus
Best Beach: St Nicholas (free coach there every morning).

The actual resort is fantastic, we are going again next year absolutely loved it.
The beach is not that great but still able to spend a day there. We never ate at the same restaurant twice there was that much to choose from every meal was brilliant, we found a brilliant bar on the main strip called "Jungle bar" well worth a visit. other bars are also great.
The apartments we stayed at were very basic just basically a bed shower fridge and balcony.
Pool was very small also, but if you’re looking to go to Zante and don’t want the hustle and bustle of Laganas, Argassi is the best place to go its lively great food and genuine people.

We've just returned from the most wonderful holiday in Zakynthos, we stayed in Argassi at Noula Studios, Noula and family were great and you felt part of the family straight away the accommodation was as described in the brochure, the hill leading up to the studios is quite steep so really not suitable for the less mobile.
Ate out every night and did not have a bad meal however, recommendations for really special meals, great value for money and wonderful local hospitality and dishes are Eden and Ilision (in Argassi). We visited Kefalonia for the day through a local tour operator (not Thompson) and had a great time, there was a lot to fit in to the day but well worth the 37 euros each, it gave you a real taste for the Island, so much so we're booking to go there next year!
Zakynthos is a beautiful Island and Noula Studios are a brilliant base to see it from - highly recommended!

We had such a good time in 2007 that we re booked with Noula and her family for this year and once again we were not disappointed. The biggest problem we had was finding suitable flights from the UK!. We arrived in the early hours and Noula had left our apartment un locked all ready and waiting for us. The apartment was as good as last year (maybe could do with one or two more ktichen utensils). We stayed in room 12 this time which is a bit further away from the road and more quiet. The sun rises infront of the Noula studios so you have a wonderful view over the Ionian sea in a morning whilst you take your breakfast. Everything was as clean and tidy as the previous year and so quiet! At one point there was only us two and another couple in the whole of the complex which was ideal for our kind of relaxing holiday. The Noula apartments would not be suitable for small children as there is nothing to keep them enterained except for the swimming pool. The restuarants in Argassi were as tasty as ever (the Peppermint is stil the best) and we were welcomed back, with smiles and handshakes, by alot of the owners who recognised us from 2007.
To finish off Noula organised a taxi for us for our return journey, which was once again in the early hours. Thanks again to the whole family and we will be seeing you again
