We stayed at the Astoria 25 years ago on our honeymoon - the first year it opened. For our silver wedding we thought we'd go back and how glad we are we did! The hotel is still owned and run by the same the family, who greet the many returning holiday makers like long lost... more

As always a great stay, we've been visiting the Astoria for years now and can't fault the place. Its exceptionally clean and tidy, the food is excellent and by far the most idyllic place in Alykes to sit and have an evening meal, with the waves lapping just a few feet away... more

Just returned from the Astoria Hotel after a great holiday.
The food and service in the restaurant is great, with really friendly staff. The rooms are clean and tidy, and there is plenty room on the beach in front of the hotel.
If you want to get away and relax I would recommend this hotel.
