Samos Hotel

We only stayed one night, but could easily have stayed a few more. Probably the best thing about the hotel is its central location which presents a beautiful view of the Samos bay from the bedroom windows. If you're arriving by ferry, you really don't have to go any further to look for good accommodation than the Samos Hotel - it's about 50m from the ferry terminal, which, if you're arriving with lots of luggage, is a distinct plus. we have just returned from a weeks stay at the hotel samos in samos town. i would reccomend this hotel highly. it was a small and friendly hotel which was kept very clean. OUR ROOM - i emailed the hotel before we left to ask for a room with a harbour view and on a high floor, and the reception staff were kind enough to give this to us. we were in room 411 which is on the top floor and has a lovely view of the harbour. the room itself was small but had lots of facilties such as air con and a seperate ceiling fan, a fridge, hairdryer, a... more

This hotel is wonderful in so many ways. The hotel is located in Samos town and is only a few steps from the ferry, cafes and restaurants. You can easily find a taxi, book a tour, rent a car or utilize the local buses for visiting other areas of the island. The rooms are small but clean. We have just returned from the beautiful island of Samos, where we stayed in the Hotel Samos on the harbour front in Samos Town for two weeks. What a great hotel! Spotlessly clean everywhere. Sheets changed so frequently we lost count and towels changed every day. We had a room on the front overlooking the harbour which was great for watching the comings and goings of the ferries and travellers from Turkey and other islands. We weren't sure what to expect from the Samos Hotel, as our travel brochure had rated it two stars (!!) and as we'd stayed in their supposed four star hotel in Athens by this time, we weren't at all optimistic. We stayed at the Hotel Samos in Samos Town on the Greek island of Samos for two weeks. Fantastic hotel, maid service every day, very clean comfortable rooms. Service was great and the views from the rooftop pool were beautiful. We had rooms overlooking the bay and harbour, it was really relaxing just sat watching the boats arriving from Athens, Turkey and other islands just along the coast. Had a wonderful two weeks here July/August 2004. Rooms were kept beautifully clean and bedlinen and towels were regularly changed. Breakfasts were very good. The food served in the music bar was also good and excellent value for money. The reception staff were very friendly and would deal with any enquiry quickly and efficiently. The hotel is ideally located for ferry travellers and it is easy to get to other parts of the island from the bus station in Samos town.

I went 2 times to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, whit a time gap of 5 years. The 1st time was on my honeymoon, and i am happy to say that, Samos was an excelente choice. It had very good an confortable acomodations, an very good service and we could tell that the staff was always tring to please the customers. Considering that it is a 3* hotel, and whit fair prices, it was the best choice in a quality/price relation. Have just returned from a wonderful two week break staying at the excellent Hotel Samos on Samos Island in Greece. The rooms were fairly small but adequate with all the facilities you really need such as a fridge, tv, hairdrier, airconditioning, plus a ceiling fan. Although the hotel is situated on a busy road it did not affect the enjoyment of the hotel in anyway and each room had good double glazed patio doors on the balcony, which shut out all noise at night.
