Amazing. Relaxing.& Friendly

Aug 2011, Wayne. Becky & Joshua

We first went to the Anixis in 2005 and have been back every year since i cant praise this place enough, this is a family owned Apartment comlex, its always clean just like it looks in the pictures, in the day time there is Caroline very friendly nothing is too much trouble and great with the kids, night time you have your very own greek barman Stergos to cater for your every need ( and he is a wiz on the pool table ).
The owners Glynis & Stamatis are never far away with a smile on there faces, if they are not in the apartments you will find them next door in the Supermarket, the pool area again is cleaned daily with a small enclosed shallow pool for the smaller ones. the rooms are spotless they are cleaned daily, the rooms are air conditioned and most welcome in the middle of July in the greek heat. you dont need to carry extra weight taking irons hair dryers the rooms have it all including a nice Bath,
if your looking for a relaxing holiday in a warm welcoming friendly place where you can go home knowing you enjoyed your holiday then this is the place for you and your family, we will be back thats for sure
Thanks to Glynis & Stamatis and the rest of the crew see you all next time

Absolutely top holiday!

Aug 2011, The Reaper

My wife and daughter and I went to the Anixis for the first time this July and like many other customers will definitely return. Glynis and Stematis are amazing: so friendly and helpful. There was a taxi strike when we were there and they used their own car to ferry their customers to the airport and to pick up new arrivals. Can’t say how grateful we were for that help.
The apartments are typically Greek but spotlessly clean. There is maid service every day except Sunday. There is free Wi Fi in the Bar area and the indefatigable Caroline is always on hand to serve or just to have a chat.
We spent most of our time at the pool: the beach is disappointing but Anixis more than made up for that little downside.
I cannot recommend this place too highly – 11out of 10!

Jun 2009, Jean and Ron

Just got back from 2 glorious weeks in Rhodes at the Anixis apartments in Ixia. These were the best apartments we have been to. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure you had a good time. Some apartments could do with a little modernising, but were clean and comfortable. I will certainly return.

Great family run apartments conveniently situated between Ixia and Trianda, both within easy walking distance. A short bus ride from outside of the apartments takes you into Rhodes town.
The apartments are very clean, comfortable and well maintained. There is a bar/lounge area with a varied choice of meals available throughout the day. The apartments have their own, well stocked Supermarket/Gift Shop, Jewellery Shop and Internet Cafe.
There is a children's play area with swings and the swimming pool has a seperate fenced off small shallow pool for the younger children.
Glynis, Stamatis and their staff are very welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, which makes these apartments home from home.

We were actually staying up the road...

Aug 2008, Mrs K Murphy

We were actually staying up the road at the Summerland apartments but got chatting to Glynis whilst at the supermarket next door. Our 13 year old son was fed up as our apartments were full of dutch kids so he had no friends. We were told we could use the facilities at the Anixix and all the kids there were English. So that night we popped in for a drink and my son made a friend straight away.
Whilst the pool and garden were small, my kids who were 13 & 15 made loads of friends and preferred to spend time there. We were made very welcome by Glynis, Caroline and Sergot(?) who made us very welcome and we were sadder saying goodbye to them than at our own apartments where the staff were unfriendly. Sergot is a master at pool and always had time to play the kids and enjoyed playing my husband as they were of a similar level.
Glynin would offer lifts home to us and other people who did not stay at their apartments, nothing was too much trouble.
Not sure I would go to Ixia again as the main busy road is a nightmare. One night our kids went out for a meal with a large group of friends they'd made - ages ranging from 18 - 13 and all the parents were concerned about them crossing the road alone but it ain't cool crossing them over!!!! Luckily they all got back safe and sound!!!

Our party had an enjoyable, relaxing holiday at the Anixis.
The people who run the establishment were very friendly and helpful, as the lady is English there is no problem with communication if one needs information.
Tthe accommodation was clean and basic as with all self catering-we always eat out and have never attempted to cook anything for ourselves, the apartment facilities are just not up to it in our opinion (this applies to almost all of the S.C. we have been to, not just the Anixis).
Ixia itself is small and uninteresting so we walked the approx 1 mile into Trianda which had far more restaurants and shops, we thought the Messegious restaurant felt traditional and was good value, turn right at the traffic lights in Trianda, about 300yds down on the left.
The local bus service was frequent and we used it to get to Rhodes town, this is well worth a visit, the old town is fantastic, you could explore the ancient streets for a week and not see it all.
The big downside was when we got picked up on the return journey, the pickup time was 16.00 to 16.30 and as the coach does not pick up outside the lobby but opposite the apartments on the very busy main road.
I had to wait and watch for it for a half hour, you then had to get your family together and cross this road unassisted (which is the main north road to Rhodes town) with all your luggage, for anyone with children this was potentially dangerous.

Jul 2007, Mr DL Lyons

My girlfriend and I both wanted a reasonably cheap 1 week vacation to somewhere with a lot of sun but wanted the resort to be clean and relaxing.
Anixis was all of these. If you're looking for somewhere with a bit of life but not to energetic, somewhere with a choice of fine restaurants, and somewhere not too far from the main city itself.
The rooms where minimal but came with all the basic needs expected on a self catering basis. The maids changed the bed sheets everyday!
The staff were more than friendly to help with any questions regarding trips, bus routes/times etc.
The pool was basic but well maintained.
The supermarket next door was owned by the family who also run the apartments and this catered for all your holiday needs. I will say the supermarket sells large bottles of Amstel at 95c and the hotel bar sells them at 3 Euros so we bought them from there and still drank them pool side.
10 minute walk to the nearest village.
10 minute bus ride. (bus stop right outside resort and arrive every 20 minutes)
10 minute walk to pebble beach. (Very sore on the feet be warned)
Bakery across from resort. (if you have sweet tooth then you'll love it).
