" FANTASTIC TIME!! "

After 9 years of travelling to Faliraki, the Sun Maris was by far the best accomodation we have ever found. Mary was absolutely fantastic and we were made to feel at home in minutes of arriving. Nothing was too much trouble and Mary even made FRESH fruit and vegetable, baby purees every day for our 8 month old daughter (who also fell in love with Mary!) She should market these as she devoured the lot every time. The Sun Maris was beautifully kept and Mary's Mojitos were the best we'd ever tasted (and we HAVE tried and tested many!). A fantastic stay for people of all ages, the atmosphere around the pool was brilliant and Mary's lovely nature rubbed off on everyone who stayed with her. You could not ask for better in Rhodes. We heading back in a couple of months and she will be our first contact everytime we go back now. Thank you again Mary!
Advice: Don't believe everything you see on TV - this place is fantastic.
Activities: Hawaii restaurant does a lovely Kleftiko!

This was the first time we have stayed at Sun Maris and it was great. We have been going to Faliraki for 6 years and it is the best hotel we have stayed in. It was our honeymoon and Mary made it that little bit more special. She was always happy and always happy to help.
The rooms were VERY clean and tidy, Rita kept them immaculate.
Can't wait to go back and stay at the Sun Maris again.

Visited the Sun Maris for 1 week in August 2008 and it was the best holiday i have had. The food was great sitting by the pool, the pool was extremely clean and beautifully presented and our room was the same always clean with fresh towels.
Mary was the most amazing host always making sure that you where ok or asking if you needed anything she is a top host.
Her cocktails are to die for. We will definitely be going back next year without a doubt.
I would say these apartments would suit younger couples and older couples even with kids young or old.

Amazing holiday. Mary made the holiday. After an 18 hour delay Mary brightened our day and we had an amazing room, with air con available MASSIVE balcony and big spacious room.
Her apartments are very very very clean, mary is so friendly and welcoming, she runs the whole place on her own and i dont know how she does it.
Its a small, cute and cosey place. You can relax so much and you are only 5 mins walk away from the heart of Faliraki and there are supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars on your door step.
I would definately go back again.

I highly recommend the Sun Maris Apartments. The location is just right, on the main street from Rhodes to Lindos with supermarkets and restaurants nearby but just the right distance from the bars and clubs. The room we had was simple, clean and had all we required. The pool and snack bar are great but the best thing about the place is Mary the owner. Mary runs the place and loves to have fun at the same time. She’s obviously busy but makes time to get to know her guests. Mary did so much for us during our week stay I will never forget it.

Got a warm welcome the second we arrived, Mary the owner is really nice, the hotel is forever being cleaned would recommend staying here.
Its about a 2 min walk into faliraki bar/club street but far enough away to get a good night sleep if you've had a heavy one the night before!

Went to Faliraki last year with a group of girls, and we really enjoyed ourself. Mary the owner is lovely and am going back there in July 08 with another group to show them how fantastic it was. If you ever go, have Mary's fry-ups lol, the best. The pizza place across the road isn't that nice. Beach is lovely. Enjoy!!

we stayed at the sun maris 2 years running and we are going on the 7th june 2008 we are looking forward to seeing mary the owner.she is great with her guests and treats everyone the same its like going home to family,you get a warm welcome and anything you need she will do her utmost to help.the rooms are exeptionaly clean,and double glazing so no noise at all at night.her food is prepared fresh and is very tasty.plenty to do.50 metres away is the alabama and tonys and mikes and across the road is summer nights try these is a must.once you have been to sun maris you will return year after year,in fact you wont want to leave ideal for 30s onward especially couples..enjoy.

My friend and stayed at sun maris way back about 2000? my memory is not so good! we had the time of our lives thanks to mary and her amazing hospitatility, have kept in touch over the years she is that fantastic a lady!!!!!!!!!! i would recommend sun maris to anyone, familys and couples, although it is in Faliraki which is lively you are just the right distance away from the noise! Have been back once since and what can i say mary was as fab as ever and her swimming pool is a dream! And now i have found her again via facebook i plan to visit again soon! Rhodes is a beautiful island and there is so much to enjoy.

Spent a fantastic week in rhodes at the sun maris. The Hotel manager mary makes everyone feel very welcome, me and my partner got engaged whilst there and arrived back to our room one day to a bottle of champagne and flowers. Definately eat at the apartments as the food has a very homely feel to it.
We spent nearly every night in kellys irish bar, and if your looking for somewhere posh/but cheap to eat try "piano" an open air restaurant with live piano music.
We also did the discover rhodes tour, which was worth every penny but Warning!! do not climb the acropolis without some serious walking boots, and dont spend all night in kellys drinking greek beer the night before.

Best welcome we have ever had at a hotel by Mary the owner and the two welsh ladies Wendy and Jill. Beautiful apartment. Spotlessly clean.
Try the Greek salad it's lovely. The sun maris has the best pint in Falaraki. Manolis restaurant is one of the best we went too. Try the manolis garlic bread...its beautiful...located just behind the church.
Plenty of entertainment in Falaraki. Try Kelly’s Irish bar for a good night with Liam the leprechaun...every Tuesday is Christmas. Went to Thomas bar for a couple of nights... Very friendly people. Pool tables and big screen TVs also lovely Sunday lunch. Good fun for all ages.

I went to Faliraki in 2006 and would definitely say it wouldn't have been the same if my family and I hadn't stayed at Sun Maris.
It was a brilliant holiday and the owner, Mary was very nice and kind and helpful. She made us feel very welcome.
If I was to ever go back to Faliraki, I would stay there again.

I went on a girl’s holiday and stayed at the Sun Maris apartments and found it was in a great location.
Although it is in Faliraki it is not too close to the bars and nightclubs where all the noise is, which was good for when we went quite up for the partying yet when we were the bars were only a short stroll away. There is a good sized supermarket directly opposite for anything we needed. The complex is quite small which was a good thing as the pool area was never too crowded and it was easier to get to know people and make friends.
The staff were very friendly too especially Mary the owner and her brother she made us feel very welcome and I would certainly consider staying at the Sun Maris in the future!
