Villa Durrueli Hotel

Enjoyed a really relaxing stay on Ischia mainly due to an excellent hotel. Friendly conscientious staff, good food, excellent facilities and a clean airy room all contributed to what makes a holiday special. The location of the hotel was ideal with a short pleasant walk (both directions) to restaurants, bars, beach and the castle. To give this Hotel a " 5 Traveler Rating" is not enough..From the Manager and staff to the waiters in the restaurant and the household help everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful.. I would like to Thank each one of them.. ( Guesippie , Rosa, Angelina, Mario, John, and all ) The rooms were immaculate and very nicely furnished . Great stay here in May, well signposted from the port and we managed to walk in about 20minutes. The location is down a quiet side street but is very close to lovely restaurants on the sea front at Ischia Ponte.The spa was a wonderful treat and the staff friendly and helpful.

Very Italian and although one receptionist had excellent English the rest of the staff had enough to be polite and offer assistance. All members of staff were helpful and very pleasant. The rooms were clean and bright. We had a superior twin bedded room which though not large was more than adequate. The food was very good. my only criticism would be the lack of choice in the desserts during the final week when there were only 10 guests. however, the remainder of the food was the usual high standard. My general impression is very good. Excellent the staff (speak english), pool, restaurant and food, rooms. The rooms have internet service and this very important for me. Spectacular view of the Aragonese Castle by the Durrueli terrace. The staff is always available and I has eaten good local dishes. I am very satisfied of the stay. I will certainly return and recommend it.
