The food was great(shaun)the beer was great(keith)and the hospitality was top notch(sonia

Just returned from our first holiday in Cyprus, after staying at the Domniki apartments. We couldn't have dreamed of a better week. The hotel staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us to make our visit to Cyprus a week to remember.
Keith and Sean always went that extra mile for their guests by checking the football scores to hiring us a car.
The food in the hotel was top class and reasonably priced. The rooms were comfortable and very clean.
We hope to return sometime soon and bring the family.

My husband and I stayed at the Dominiki from 6th - 20th Sept, fantastic holiday, great hotel, views from our room 111 amazing, staff great especially Keith and Penny. Apartments spotless as was the rest of the hotel. We have been to Penera 3 times now, staying at the Anastasia Hotel twice before on half board, but decided to go bed and breakfast and so glad we chose the Domniki. The breakfasts were great you had a choice from the breakfast menu, also we ate there for lunch on the days we didnt go out for the day.
Our freinds stayed at the LIVAS at the back of us and they were very pleased with there apartments also.
There are plenty of places to eat in the evening, we recommend Steels Phoenix Bar & Grill had 3 meals there and a Sunday roast (which is best to book) and the food was lovely, great owners. Also if you go into Protaras as we did catch the bus it is only 1.50 euros where ever you go, Happy Days is a great place to eat in Protaras. Aiya Napa is also a good night out plenty of choice we had a great Chinese meal but cant remember the name but a very modern place looked like it had not been opened long.
The little cove at the Dominiki is beautiful crystal clear water, great for snorkeling also if you get the chance go to Konnos Bay just on the outskirts of Protaras heading towards Aiya Napa. Fantastic place. Cyprus is a beautiful island to explore and the Dominiki I can highly recommend. We will be back.

We have just returned from a two week holiday at the Domniki and i cannot fault it it any way. Sonia and the entire team were excellent and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Shaun provided lovely food and it was very reasonably priced. Keith and Penny were always cheerful and happy to help even when they were run off their feet. The positioning of the hotel could not be better right on a lovely beach. Our room had excellent views and was very comfortable. We will definatley be going back next year (well providing Sonia has forgiven my husband Ray for kidnapping her precious Chelsea teddy from the bar!!)

I have just returned from the Domniki Hotel with mixed feelings. Cyprus is a wonderful place the weather amazing, the beaches lovely and generally the people very friendly however the hotel was a huge dissapointment. On arriving we were told we had to pay extra for air conditioning and for use of the safety deposit box which I did not mind about until I was told it would cost an extra 40 euros and 30 euro deposit for the week. After that I realized there was no oven in the kitchen and the stove was not working, when I spoke to the management about this I was told to go to the shop to buy matches I could not believe it! I then had to argue with the owner for a a reaction as they did not seem to care but still they did nothing In the end I had to walk around the hotel asking other guests if I could to borrow a lighter while the hotel staff just sat there. The hotel is clean, has a good location overlooking the beach and is close to shops and restaurants but had poor evening entertainment and served tasteless food which was overpriced. I love Cyprus and I will be returning next year but I will not be going to the Domniki.

Have been back from Cyprus for a week and i am still reminising of our 2 weeks hols in the Pernera district of Protaras in the Domniki. This was our first time in Cyprus and we made a good choice going to the Domniki we loved it the place is spotless and Sonia and her family and Shaun the chef and Steve the barman all of the others made it a happy and relaxing holiday we use to sunbathe on the grass area and just walk a few yards down to the beach the location could not be better if you want it a bit livlier walk along to Protaras to the strip but myself i prefered the quietness of Pernera lovely resturants and yes everybody says the prices are going up but that is evrtywhere not just Cyprus i highly recommend these apartments we are going back next year.

We have just returned from a week staying at the Domniki, and can thoroughly recommend it. We have over the years stayed at few places and can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed at. Whislt the decor may be a little dated, it does not detract from the charm, it is without a doubt the cleanest, friendliest place we have stayed at. The staff are so helpful, nothing but nothing is too much trouble.the pool is a must and as for the bay, don't forget your goggles for the fishes... worth the look!!! Definately going back next year.

Just returned this morning from a fantastic week at the Domniki. We have been to Cyprus 12 times and this hotel/location has to be our favourite . The location is situated in the Pernera area of Protaras with plenty of shops and retaurants 5 mins away.
The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The pool and surrounding areas are fantastic and the views are superb. You need to stay there to appreciate what this hotel is offering, I cannot praise it enough.
I just want to thank Sonia and her family who own the hotel for a wonderful week. They are so helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Shaun the Chef, thank you for your wonderful food.
We are returning in September and cannot wait, this will become our second home now!

Recently returned from the Domniki apartments in Pernera (near protaras) in Cyprus, and I have to say it was a great place to stay. I have stayed in Cyprus many times but this is one place I would definately come back to. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, the rooms were clean, a good size with adequate facilities. TO make this easy to read I will bullet point the things I always look for:
Bathroom: Shower with bath - water was always warm whether it was in the morning or evening and bath mats were supplied for when you get out so you don't have to worry about slipping on the tiles.
Bedroom: 2 single beds that could be pushed together to make a double if required! Good wardrobe space but take a couple of trouser hangers with you! Not an awful lot of draw space but good enough for 2 people and there was a dressing table with a mirror that was really good. The room comfortably fitted all the furniture including a cot with space to walk around.
Main room: Very spacious but incorporated the kitchen and dining table. THe fridge had a freezer inside. The other facilities were 2 ring hob and a toaster.. some rooms had an electric kettle but ours had a stove one.
Balcony: Quite small but with an excellent view - the only problem was ours was directly over reception and everytime we put clothes out they seemed to land on the roof... it was no problem for the staff though as the lads would climb up and get them down when we asked them!
Food: The food was great - we didn't eat there that often as I prefer to eat out and about but when we did it was as good as if not better than some of the restaurants.. and the breakfast was great!
Pool area: Great surroundings although because it was so early in the season the water was very cold although it did warm up near the end
Location: Fantastic.. you have the pool, the beach and a grass area inbetween if you don't like sitting on the sand. To get out and about you are in Pernera which is a great place for kids and its really family friendly but there is also a promonade walk into Protaras if you want to go to the main bit which takes about 15-20minutes and its a lovely walk along the coast.
A great place for sightseeing or a beach holiday, we were there for 2 weeks and hired a car for 5 days, in the days we didn't we either stayed by the beach (I don't like sand but it was good) or walked in to Protaras!
