Excellent Accommodation - Bijou hotel in its own stunning grounds. Although a smaller hotel the staff were very professional and accommodating. We and another couple had superior rooms and our only gripe was that these did not have their own sun-loungers on the terrace whereas the standard rooms did so if you didn't want to go down to the hotel swimming pool you couldn't lay out.
Restaurant was excellent and we could have eaten in every night but we did try other places to eat. The very best of these was Casa Portuguese in the old town run by three charming ladies - beautifully decorated, small restaurant (probably about 25 people?) and wonderful food - try the steak on a stone - marvellous! Couldn't recommend this enough!!
