My partner and i went here for two weeks at the beggining of july 09, and it was by far the best holiday we've had together!! So much choice of restaurants when you want to eat out, all within a 10 min walk from the hotel, lots of choice too. Also lots of supermarkets and kitchens and shop both have everything you need to be capable of cooking your own means too (we were self catering). Hotel was fantastic, the staff could not do enough to help!!! always smiling and moving out of the way etc. Hotel is nice and quiet with only a show once a week, so suited mainly couples of all ages and young families. rooms are extremeley spacious and very good views from all rooms. air con had three settings, the lowest being almost silent, so was brilliant to leave on whilst you sleep. Most of the hotels were all crammed up hills and steep steps in the cliffside, whereas this one is about 20 ft from the harbour (balconys overlooking) so no steep steps in sight!! Hotel is also far away enough that you cannot hear the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre (20 min walk away, where lots of other hotels are).Cannot reccommend this hotel enough.It was superb! going back next year!!

Well, my wife and I have just got back from a 2 week stay at the Morasol Suites, and would thoroughly recommend it to anybody.
We specifically chose this hotel as we had seen them on our last visit to Puerto Rico, and liked the look of them. We are so glad that we remembered and actually went.
The whole hotel is kept immaculately clean, with nothing out of place in any public area. Even the poolside was cleaned using a floor scrubber at least twice a week!
Another thing I need to add, is to mention the restaurant. Other reviews have commented on how bad it was, but I can assure you that this has now been resolved. The restaurant side of the business has been taken over by a couple, Marco and Rosa, who have turned it around in just a few months. Excellent food, competitive prices, and a fantastic self serve buffet breakfast, which you don't need to get up at stupid o'clock for!
We'll definately be going back...

We have just come back from staying here for a week and it was one of the best holidays we have ever had, the rooms were really nice and clean, the cleaners came every day and did such a good job. The staff were friendly and helpful and a big thank you to Marco and Rosa who are the new management for the restuarant and Bar their friendliness and quality of the food made it even more special.

I would agree with all of the comments about the accommodation. However no one seems to mention the very busy and noisey road that runs at the back of the hotel and is about 20 foot higher than the sun terrace. Far from restful and relaxing. I will not be going back for this reason alone.

Wow....read the reviews and chose hotel on this basis. FANTASTIC!! Hotel was spotless, modern and staff were EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!
Roof top sun terrace was superb and pool/facilities great
Booking to go back in a few months.
You are located at the marina which means you have a 4 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to bars and restaurants. 3 euros gets yoou a taxi to the top of the mountains to the Europa shopping centre (although another shopping centre is 15 mins walk away from the marina).
Hotel had lifts for disabled/elderly and easy access to pool area - however sun terrace has stairs to it.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

This has to be the best hotel we have ever stayed in!
The pool area is always clean and quiet without the need to wake up at stupid o'clock to put a towel on sunbeds.
The room was lovely and modern and was cleaned every single day.
The view is spectacular of the harbour, very beautiful when lit up on a night time.
The beach is a 2 minute walk and some lovely bars to go to - harbour lights!

stayed at morasol suites last week .have to say they were the best we have ever stayed in .and we go on at least 3 holidays a year.location excellent in the harbour on the flat.puerto rico is very hilly but no problems at morasol.if ever going back to puerto rico will definetely stay at morasol.best breakfast harbour nights behind beach upstairs .nice bars crock o gold .charliez and wig wam.

we stayed for i week at the morasol suites. we had a wondefull time all the staff were excelent. the rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard. entertainment was good. food was excelent only thing we thought was a childrens menu as my 7 year old struggled with the choice of meals. the pool was lovely. i would defenantly return here tomorow if i could.

These apartments and in a great location with great views from every room. They are nice and quiet and very clean. The staff are friendly and every request was sorted imedietly. The pool area is lovely and clean.

My husband, daughter and myself stayed at the Morasol Suites Sept 07. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Accommodation was really good, very clean and kept very clean daily, location perfect overlooking the marina. Ample room to sunbathe on sun terrace no need for this childish donkey run in morning for sunbeds. Ate one evening at the hotel, very poor indeed. Bar area very nice but deserted, not actually needed as such good quality restaurants close by (our opinion was they should just keep the whole building as self-catering). Will be back, in fact that was our third visit - recommendation in itself.

My wife and I went to stay here for the first time in December and the place is fantastic.
The rooms are cleaned daily by the maids and they always have a smile on their face. The pool is also cleaned daily. The food is good but we mostly ate out as it was our first time at this resort.
The staff are very helpful and charming.
It is situated at the harbour end of the resort and is ground level which is fantastic as you have a nice level walk to the shopping centre. No hills to climb at all.
Bit more expensive than all the other places in the resort but we think it was worth the money and when we return to Puerto Rico we will be staying at the Morasol Suites.
Must also add that it is very quiet at this end of the resort.

I have just come back from a week’s holiday from this Hotel. I thought it was absolutely brilliant. The service from the staff was really good and all the apartments were really clean and the pool was gorgeous. I would definitely go here again even though it was a bit quiet, it was worth every penny!

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this is the best place to stay.
The rooms are superb, very trendy with everything you need including coffee maker, orange juice, a blender, kettle, and toaster.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful, also the food served at the hotel restaurant was very good. Our stay here made our holiday complete.

The suite, consisted of a huge double room with built in wardrobes which contained a safe (16 euros a week), bathroom with bath and very good power shower and large vanity unit,the kitchen area had everything you could want although we only really used the fridge and kettle, the living area with patio doors to the balcony could sit 6 people comfortsbly and had a 28 inch lcd tv with satallite channels, the large balcony had table and chairs and a pull out drying rail, you were not allowed to put towels over the glass front wall.
You could get towels for around the pool for a deposit of 10 euro's which you got back when you returned the towels.
as for reserving sunlougers , you do not need to, there were plenty of loungers beside the pool it did not matter what time of day, there were spare ones there,
The pictures do show a road infront of the hotel, it is a road that is only used for people coming to the hotel and the odd boat owner at the harbour, it is a gated area controlled by a guard at the other end of the harbour, so very little noise from the road.
we did try the restaurant and bar out and it was as good as expected, the bar did close one night when we were the only ones in there but that was just before midnight.
we will return. 10/10
Advice: watch out for the 'timeshare sellers' at the back of the beach,
