Carina apartments is gorgeous the staff were ok. the manager is very hot... but in all kusadasi is amazing. bar street is great.. and to me its paradise by the way i've been there 11 times. the golden boys are the nicest, real people there.. fiona

What can I say! I had one of the best holidays ever at the Carina Studios. It was well worth the transfer time to get there. I loved the fact that our room came with a sea-view - there was such a lovely, scenic view from the balcony. I can't fault the Carina in any way - the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and courteous, the food was great (terrific selection and a free welcome meal was provided on the first night) and there was also a few nights of great entertainment provided (Turkish belly-dancing & a magic show!). The resort of Kusadasi is lovely, with lots of shops, mainly selling gold, handbags or clothes. We didn't explore many of the bars/pubs on the main stretch but we did find a small bar called Durty Nellys, with an Irish theme, and we visited there each night - I would recommend it! Have a great holiday, I'm sure you will if you book to go to Carina Studios! I'm looking forward to returning next summer!

stayed in the carina in june. was my first time at them apatments, been going to turkey 10 years. been in lots of resorts in turkey. carina has been the best by far. staff great very helpful. cleaners very good nothing was a problem for them.people who were there in june should have know footie would be on every were.. so a liitle noise is to be expected. i can not fault the carina in anyway. going back september for 2 weeks. but sadly colud not get the carina again as its booked up. any one thinking of staying will not be dissapointed.

This is the second time we have stayed in ther carina studios.the first time we were on our own with our son and he was only 3 at the time.The kiddies pool was excellent for him and the staff very friendly towards children.The room was excellent,it was overlooking the bar a bit but also the sea and in the mornings the sea view was excellent.The rooms were kept very clean,cleaned every day,but linen changed every third day. on our arrival staff were very helpful with cases,and on the second night they had what was called the welcome night.Everyone was welcome and the food fab but the entertainment just seemed to drag on.The pool area was cleaned every day the first year we were there but the second year we were there we didnt even notice a cleaner and when english guests decided to pull the lights out of the main pool and leave electric cables hanging we decided for safety reasons we couldnt even swim in the pool.The usual staff that were on at nights had to amend the situation,which was hopeless.They just took them out again.After we had complained to the rep she explained to us that the owner the first year we had went to carina had died and now it was his two sons that run it,she did admititngly tell us they were running it into the ground for the money.Beware the men will take advantage whether you like it or not.two were sacked while we were there for being a bit too friendly andvthe staff will buy themselves a drink out of your money,without you even noing it.In a nut shell carina is brill if your a couple or single and spending as little time in the place as possible.

Well, We booked a late deal to Kusadasi and travelled out 2 days later, I have been to Altinkum in Turjey before and hated every minute however it was a cheap sunny deal so thought what the hell, Well I cannot beleive how pleasently suprosed I was I have travelled the caribbean and loved every minute of it but Kusadasi is now in my top 5 holiday destinations and can assure you that you should not miss out on seeing one of the most beautful places in the worls. Carina studios topped it off - Friendly staff, Clean apartments, Good food, Fab 1st choice rep (nothing to much trouble). It is def not a place to be missed, If you are reading this as you have already booked your trip - I AM VERY JEALOUS YOU WILL HAVE EXCELLENT TIME. I would say though - Dont visit Samos for the day (not worth it) X have fab time X

We returned from the Carina apartments yesterday and have not been to Turkey before although travel to various places around the world around 4 times a year varying from cheap holidays to 5 star hotels. Our first impression of the Carina apartments after arriving at 2am was that the room was what you would expext from a 3* hotel. The following morning we had breakfast which we thought was very good. The meeting with the tour operator rep was the worst we have ever seen, going on for over an hour sat in a room with her trying to overpoweringly trying to sell the excursions etc and we finally escaped from this and hired a car. (We got the car from Avis which was much cheaper than booked through the tour operator). We cannot comment on the food as we did not eat at the hotel apart from one breakfast. The cleaners came in each day and did not bother you at all as they came in the afternoon although the cleaning depended on which cleaner came in. Some did nothing except empty the bins and others made the beds, did the washing up and left towel sculptures etc. There was always hot water except for one morning when the shower was cold. The one thing that really annoyed us about this hotel was the television. We do not come on holiday to watch football and you had no choice about this. All the rooms overlook the bar with the exception of a few. They had really loud football on which you could hear in the room with door closed. After complaining about this the next day they put up a notice saying the football would be in the inside bar. It wasn't. Although they had turned the sound down abit. It seemed the football was on for the benefit of the waiters as other people had either gone out or ignoring it with the waiters pacing up and down watching television. On our last night there they had a really old film on. Again very loud. Nobody except the waiters were watching this. When we checked out of the hotel they were very apologetic as they thought we were leaving because of something they had done wrong. This wasn't the case we just wanted to see more of the country. The hotel had entertainment twice during the time we were there. The first one we didn't see. The second one was dancers that lasted about 1/2 hour. Followed by dancing from the waiters! Butlins? We probably had one of the worst rooms in the hotel as it was on the first floor and overlooked the bar but it did have a nice sea view from the side and the majority of the other rooms must have had a good sea view. We had been advised from people we know and our travel agent (my Dad) not to drive in Turkey as it is dangerous. This is not the case. We had a car for the whole week and aslong as you are capable of driving in a foreign country it is completely safe. The roads are very good. Speed limits are low and other drivers are fine. We found it easier than driving in Spain, France, Greece, Tunisia (nightmare), and Ireland (where we live). Meals cost around 30 liras for two people for a main course, salad, chips and two bottles of beer. We did get caught out once in a restaurant that did not have prices for what we ordered and came to 120 liras, so make sure you know what it costs first. We found Turkey more expensive than we were told from people that had been there a few years ago who said a meal cost about £2 for two people. The Turkish people are very friendly and helpful and we will certainly return to Turkey although not the Carina apartments. If you are going to the Carina apartments you can get the bus easily and cheaply or hire a car and get away from the awful evening television as there is alot to do in the resort and they do turn the television off around midnight. It really isn't a bad place apart from this. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Stayed at this hotel in June 2005. The staff are very friendly. They have a free meal / party on the night after arrivals which is great for meeting new friends. The food at this is excellent. It is ideally located between the main harbour and beach areas. You can hop on a bus anytime outside the hotel and hop off wherever you like. The buses are very cheap. Just flag one down. Would recommend visiting both Ladies beach and the town at night for a meal. Ladies Beach is a little less hectic and more relaxed than the town.

Carina Apartments in Kusadasi are great! The hotel is well located, very near to the town but not too close to be noisy at night. The rooms are very clean, all balconies have a lovely sea view and the staff are so friendly. What a great holiday!

Well after staying at the carina, one of the first of the new season, i can honestly say it is brilliant! helpful staff, if you need anything just ask and they are there and JJ the rep very nice and helpful! They all go out of there way to help you and the free meal and dance was brilliant! the apartments are spotless and the views are fantastic. The pool area is clean and very inviting.. the bar is open from 8am till the last person to go, and reasonably priced too. the food is freshly cooked. The mini market , fresh bread and very tasty! On the saturday is roast beef night, lovely, and the men have a shave! Theres a photographer every evening and takes good photos of you and not expensive.. If its your first visit to Kusadasi then i highly recommend Carina studios, i've booked for september already! The dolmous bus go's every ten minutes and is cheap. highly recommend ladies beach too its spotless, and all the bars are friendly. On the way into kusadasi visit the Victoryia, the staff there friendly and the breakfasts very appetizin..

i have enjoyed four stays now at the carina and would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone considering booking these apartments. all the staff are very pleasant and helpful-in fact they would go ouy of their way if you needed anything. the rooms are spotlessly clean, all the rooms have tremendous seaviews -perhaps the only minus that i can think of would be the fact that there is no lift,which is unfortunate if you have any mobility problems-having said that one can request a ground floor apartment before your trip. the carina is within 10 mins walking distance of the centre;but the dolmus stop is right outside the front gate of the carina and it only costs a few pence for the short journey. there is a little mini-market at the carina, where, at 8.00 am you may purchase the gorgeous fresh crispy rolls for breakfast along with other essential provisions, but i recommend a dolmus to migros supermarket at the main bus station-(otogar) for anything other than the essentials. the restaurant at the carina is excellent, and while sunbathing at the pool during the day, you only need to indicate that you want something and before you know it - you have it, they serve lovely burgers and (real) chips! I say - top marks go to Carina Apartments.
