We stayed in 2707 Prestwick Lane, Windsor Park, and what can I say, It was fantastic, the property was well maintained an ideally located within 20 minutes of the the main gates of Disney. We decided to have alternate days at the parks and at our villa, the days at the parks were as always hectic, but the days at the villa we peaceful and tranqil, my husband even got a few rounds of golf in on the award winning Remmington Course which is also part of the development. We have already booked up for next year in the same villa for another perfevt 2 week break!!

we booked 2 stay in windsor hills (which is 10/10) and got put here by mistake!! we had 2 fight 4 a week 2 get out of this place!!! we all hated it... the villas where not that good (if u have been to orlando before u would NOT be happy 2 stay here). windsor park is 2 far out of the way, it takes around 45 mins just 2 get 2 disney... unless u take the turnpike, for which you have to pay for. the villa itself was very basic and u dont have much privacy when you r in the pool, as it was next to the entrance road into the resort (if you could call it that). we where booked to stay there for 3 weeks and we left after 1 week and paid to move to windsor hills (where we should have been in the first place). i would not recommend windsor park to anyone, so book for windsor hills instead.

  • Advice: stay in windsor hills!!!
  • Activities: bob evans restaurant and black angus r the best!!!!

Well it was our first time in windsor park villas and let me tell you it wont be our last!!
When we arrived i thought we had won the lotto they are spot on.every thing is there you need except one thing a KETTLE they only do coffee machines so if you want a cup of tea make sure you take your tea bags and a kettle. The villas are massive the garage is the size of a house on its own.It is home from home,You have wallmart 3miles down the road and they do everything. Also a tip if you have never been there before make sure you have some change handy for the toll roads i think the max on one of them was $1.75 which is not the end of the world.People are very pleasent around there i had a tattoo do in a tat shop called defiance very good ask for patch he was great!! The only thing that made me a bit mad when i got to the airport when we had arrived i went to pick up are car from doller and cost me an extra $700 for car insurance so please before you go make sure you do this also tell them you will take the car full of fuel and return full of fuel.Other than this it was great i would do this again year after year if i can afford it.Also another tip dont bother taking a full suit case as clothes are very cheap there you have been warned as the excess charge at the airport is expensive. Also if your fly out of sanford airport and you got some money left use it before you go as there are about 4 shops in the airport. Hope my review helps anyone whos looking. Neil .Bridgwater,Somerset

We just got back from our holiday in...
9 / 10
Sep 2007, Mrs D Perkins

We just got back from our holiday in Orlando, what can I say to express what a fab time we had. This was our 2nd visit in 2 years the first time we stayed at Pop Century Resort in Disney itself but we wanted a little more space and privacy and decided to go with a villa this year.
There were only the 3 of us, myself my husband and my 6 year old son. The villa was out of this world a lot more than we expected it to be, our mouths hit the floor when we walked through the double entrance door. The first time we opened them I thought I had won the lottery.
We stayed on Chadbury Way. The villa consisted of a massive hallway and entrance to the right, a lounge and dining room, ahead a kitchen with everything you need incl a washer and dryer (so no more holiday washing when you arrive back), then a family room with patio doors leading to the pool area which you could have heated if you wanted but at 100 degrees most days we didn't need it, there were plenty of pool toys and seating area with sun loungers. We had 3 bedrooms with 2 massive bathrooms. It really was home for 2 weeks I didn't want to leave.
The only down side was that we were about 30-40 minutes from Disney depending on the traffic on the 192 but it didn't feel that long when you were driving, there are so many shops and restaurants to pick for night time that it flew by. If you do stay near to the 192 definitely pay a visit to the Outback Steakhouse the steak is out of this world and they are really freindly people. Also there was a buffet style restaurant called the Golden Corral which was nice and very reasonable $8.99 per adult $5.99 per child all you can eat dinner.
We did all of Disney and I have to say that still my favourite ride is Test Track at Epcot its brilliant. We also did Universal Studios which is as good if not better than Disney. TOP TIP buy the express tickets it is well worth it, we didn't have to queue for anything whilst others were queueing for 40-50 mins a ride. We also went to Kennedy Space Center which we were really looking forward to but it was a bit of let down, we had booked to have lunch with an astronaut and whilst it was very interesting for adults my 6 yr old struggled to understand the jargon but he was pleased he had met him. They didn't really involve the kids much.
Well I have waffled on for to long, go and see for yourself you wont be disappointed.

2741 Callaway Drive on the Windsor...

Oct 2006, Mr BS Rogers

2741 Callaway Drive on the Windsor Park Estate is where we stayed, it is a very spacious and well appointed 4 bedroom property with superb furnishing throughout, a good size pool is at the rear which is covered by a fine mesh screen, there is an alarm on the patio doors to warn you that a child has opened the door (adults press button to turn it off), the kitchen area is large even when 4 adults are helping with the cooking, there is a toilet next to this, adjacent to the kitchen is a four seat table and chairs, ideal for breakfast and snacks, there is also a "sitting room" area with sofa's and a television and DVD player.
The entrance to the huge downstairs bedroom is adjacent to this area, this has a king size bed and television with quality furniture, there is a small passage way leading from the bedroom with a walk in cupboard that leads to the bathroom, this has two basins and a bath large enough for you and all of your friends, there is a glass sided shower cubicle and toilet, downstairs at the front of the house is a superb dining room lit by two table lamps, this table is laid up complete with wine glasses.
Going upstairs there is a double bedroom with Ensuite and built in wardrobes, then there are two further bedrooms each with two single beds and built in wardrobes, these two bedrooms share a well fitted out bathroom.
Would we stay there again? - You bet
The only negative point is that the air conditioning is only down stairs, and the upstairs does get very stuffy when it is hot- and there are portable fans provided.
What do you get for free? - we got the sight of an alligator in the lake behind the house one time only but I got it on film, you also get the company of two sand hill cranes that come to visit every day - these are about 3 feet high and have red heads.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Windsor Park it is well kept with all the houses looking good and cared for.
