We were apprehensive about Dream's Beach after reading reviews but found the holiday suited our family perfectly. I went with my daughter, son in law and grandson, 3 generations. Quick passage through Marsa Alam airport on arrival, welcome drink and facecloth on arrival at... more

Got back on the 6th April from Dreams Beach, and as I use this website to guide my future choice of holidays, I thought I'd put a bit about our experience. Went with my boyfriend, we are both in our late 20s. Chose marsa Alam knowing it was in the middle of nowhere, as we... more

We had a great Holiday here. We found that at this time of year that the evenings can be a little cool, so a cardigan comes in handy( you would have warm gear anyway from the UK leg of the trip) but the day time temperatures are ideal for us brits being between 21 - 24.5*c,... more

We transferred to Dreams Beach for our second week as our daughter son-in-law and grandson were there. It was the best move we could have made. The resort was wonderful I could not fault anything about it. The rooms were cleaned and beds changed daily. The food was very... more

Just got back from Dreams Beach Hotel, Marsa Alam, can't understand any of the complaints about the food, there was a wide range of good quality food, plenty of variety to suit ALL. The hotel and the rooms where a little tired and showing signs of wear and tear, but still... more

Just got back from Dreams Beach in Egypt & thought I'd have my two pennyworth. The hotel is designated as 5*, this clearly isn't the case. They try very hard & the place is maintained to a good standard. But, the Waldorf Astoria, it ain't. However, I'm guessing that... more

A great way to spend two weeks
Just got back from 2 weeks at Dreams Beach with my wife and 12 year old son. Before I went, I was concerned about the lack of feedback for this hotel so here is my honest opinion. HOTEL. Very nice, location but it is pretty isolated, (nearest town is 20 mins away in a taxi) but we didn't find that a problem. Taxi is 5 euro's per person from the taxi woman in reception. We took the taxi to Hurghada for a day out shopping. The trip is less than two hours and the taxi driver waits for you for three hours then you come back. That will cost... more
Fantastic
Stayed here for a week with friends, fantastic. Nice quiet location, rooms were excellant. Food was top notch. Every one of the staff went out of their way to please you and were very friendly and helpful. The manager was always around to check everything was ok. Entertainment was good. The entertainment team were a great laugh. Could not fault this hotel at all, it is just getting going but I would highly recommend it. I would also recommend the horse or camel riding trip.
you cant please everybody
Having just returned from Dreams Beach after an idyllic fortnight I felt that I had to rally round to this hotels defence. Before we went we read the reviews and wondered what we were letting ourselves in for but Im pleased to say that we had an absolutley brilliant holiday! From when you arrive to the moment you leave you are looked after nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we were treated with courtesy and respect. The food is a bit repetative but you can always find something to your liking,if not ask for what you want and if they... more
Middle of nowhere
My friend and I stayed at the Dreams Beach Marsa Alam for 2 weeks from 27 June and overall, we found that the hotel was very good value. Maybe not 5* but certainly 4*. However, a week would have been better because the resort is totally isolated. You can go to Luxor if you want to spend 6hrs across the desert on a bus to get there and another 6hrs getting back. Apparently, Luxor was 55 degrees with no breeze. Not for us I'm afraid. The hotel decor was kinda funky with warm rustic colours that already looked a bit tired after 15 months... more
Sweet Dreams? The Way It Is
This is our independent, unbiased, view of the hotel; we’ve broken it down into sections and, hopefully, covered all aspects! General Overview Please note - we didn’t involve ourselves in the evening entertainment so cannot and will not comment, please see other people’s reviews. On the whole you feel safe in the hotel and there are security guards patrolling the perimeter and guards at the main entrance gate. There are 5 places to eat (main restaurant, Italian Restaurant [this must be pre-booked the day before and... more
relaxing holiday
just returned from a week in dreams beach resort marsa alam. if you want a nice peaceful and relaxing holiday with nothing to do this is the place for you. Staff very friendly and helpful.Beach superb( didnt have to get of the sunbed for drinks as barman came round often). The food was good, lots of variety and hot.Pools were very clean and were inviting. If you want entertainment this is not the place for you. Showtime started at 10 pm and was done by the animation team!!! At 11pm the disco started with the animation team. The weather was 40... more
Mixed feelings
My partner, mum, two children under five and I stayed at Dreams Beach in Marsa Alam on the 30th May for one week. Like the other reviews we were greeted with a welcome drink and our bags were taken to our rooms. Check in was quick and efficient and staff polite. Our request for two rooms next to one another was met and rooms were of good size, clean and both had good views of the sea and pools. First impressions were good, the hotel is a horse shoe shape with rooms with balcony's on both sides surrounding the central complex of... more
Dreams? More like nightmare
We booked this holiday quite a few months ago. We were very concerned about the lack of information available about this new hotel. We did see one favourable review before we went and had a few emails from the person concerned, this helped to calm our fears. We arrived on the 9th May and the first impression of the hotel was not to bad. We had a few problems with rooms, we had requested a ground floor room with double bed, they showed us to a ground floor room with twin beds. We asked to be moved and they put us in a second floor... more
Warning, Sleazy Theme Park!
My girlfriend and I stayed here at the end of April 2007 and upon arrival we were greeted with drinks which was welcoming and we had our suitcases taken to our rooms for us! The hotel was generally very clean, everyday we had new towels and on some days they arranged them into designs which was quite cool! Now for the bad parts... 1. Food & Drink- was atrocious, it was bland, with no taste and did not look very appealing when you lifted those metal lids. Often it was lukewarm and congealed with manky cheese. However the sweets... more
Excellent Resort, but.......
Just come home from a two week all inclusive stay at Dreams Beach with my wife. I gotta say, excellent resort, very clean, staff very friendly, pools and beach were great, weather was excellent, really hot 35-40's, and entertainment, although not the best in the world, the animation team gave it their best. My only problem, was how repetetive the food is. Although not bad quality, there was not a great selection of food, and almost the same every day. Chicken, beef, fish, pasta. The odd day, there was a grill done, but again, chicken of... more
