Me and my partner are just back from a weeks stay in September. I work for Thomson, as this is one of our propertys I was looking forward to staying here. The hotel was FAB! Would reccommend this to anyone looking for central good hotel in the bay. We are looking to go back next year, as we really enjoyed our stay. We would go back tomorrow if we could!! You need to get down to the beach which is a 5 minute walk away. So close to bars, one of which organises your big nights to the big night clubs which we used and found helpful!

having read the review after booking the holiday was a little nervous after reading the staff were not friendly but put that aside in hope that who ever wrote the review were just the kind of people who didnt get on with everyone well clearly not the case on arrival the reception desk were not friendly at all and it didnt end there all the bar staff were very unfriendly we would ask for a drink saying please and thankyou for them to not even look at you and slam drinks down infront of u as if they were angry they never smiled or made the effort which we found very rude,it was a shame bcus the hotel was nice very clean but was let down by unfriendy staff which i feel is an important part to be able to enjoy the hotel u need a good atmosphere and that was lacking massivly. the hotel had a mixture of people from familes and young adults which was nice altho they had a 0 tolerence to any noise what so ever i would say the younger people were clearly having fun but were not offensive in any way whereas the staff didnt take lightly to any noise anyone having fun etc they take 150 euros on arrival as a security deposit which they use against you if u make noise or break anything id say a few people lost this which seemed unfair as they were only having fun!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great food, nice, helpfull staff. Rooms very clean. The water taxis to San Antonio are great value. You can also walk into San Antonio (approx 30 mins.) Overall it's really good value for money. Would go back tomorrow if we could. Some people's petty complaints are so funny! I have none.

The rosamar was very clean and staff were very friendly. Rooms are spacious and very clean with good ac and a great shower. The food was good and varied. When we stayed we had a lot of young people in the complex so at this time of year it is maybe not best suited for families as it did get a bit noisy by the pool and in the early hours but we didn't mind. At 4 am we did get woken up with a crowd of lads having a party but we heard security telling them to keep it down or they would be asked to leave. Hotel appears safe and has security cameras for the complex which we liked. Would definitely go back to the rosamar. Ideal location for the lovely playa pinet beach where you can get the water taxi's to san antonio easily.

Myself and my friend came back from the Rosamar last week after a 2 week holiday we were very disappointed to say the least. A group of us stayed there two years ago and the hotel was a self catering board basis and the food was great however this time we went and upgraded to all inclusive as we assumed the food would be just as nice as it was previously so it made sense to upgrade to all inclusive this time. we were very wrong and misled to believe that the food would be the same standard. Food was cold, very little choice, VILE; we ate out every single night after the first couple of days as it was disgusting even the smell of it made me feel sick.Had to get your own cutlery and set the table yourself, lucky if there were 3 members of staff downstairs clearing away plates etc so as you can imagine not very friendly because they were run off their feet.
The snack bar had a very limited choice there was absolutely nothing healthy to eat not even a baguette. There was no ice lollies, crisps or anything like that available, it was the bare minimum for all inclusive.
The manager was not helpful at all all he does is make excuses about having few staff that were very busy - not good enough he happy enough to take our money!!
However rooms were very clean and air conditioning was great but thats the only positive thing I can say about the Hotel.

Me and a friend stayed here for 11 nights in june. When we arrived in san antonio bay we were dumped on the street by a thomsons rep and they said to us 'the hotel is up the road' we didnt have a clue where to go and we thought this was really rude! When we found the hotel we got there and there was a family complaining at the reception staff as when they arrived there the day before they told them their room wasnt ready so they had to be sent to another hotel which was self catering, they was told to go back the next day and there room would be ready for them but even then it wasnt ready yet. We felt abit unsure when we heard this but luckily we had a room there waiting for us. We went into our room and it was spacious. Only bad point on the balcony was that we didnt have a good view. Its just a building site at the moment even though we didnt see anyone working over there the whole time we were there. We had quite a few problems with air con. We did report this but it seemed like they didnt care so we gave up in the end. We then went to go and get a drink and found it awful how they were in little party cups what you'd have at a 5 year old party. Certain bar staff was quite rude and you didnt get a smile out of them. We went as all inclusive and was disspointed as we hardly ate there as the food was vile! We found a nice little cafe down the road so we went there. When we were walking down the road we would be approached by people trying to sell sunglasses. We had this all the time, it got annoying in the end. Half way through our holiday a gentleman arrived at the same holiday and he had his suitcase robbed from the reception, the staff didnt seem bothered by this at all. We saw the police in the hotel quite abit. We were woke up often by a group of lads next door being loud and rowdy. We saw many families complaining over the 11 nights that we stayed there. The give you the chance to keep your room till either 6 or 10 on the day your your flight this costs 30 euros until 6 or 50 euros intil 10. This is how they get double booked. The pool doesnt have signs saying which was the deep end as i found out when i got in and went straight to the bottom!!! Plently of sun beds to go around by the pool. On the up side rooms were cleaned everyday and had new towels. Your all inclusive band is cut off at 12pm on the day of your flight but because we had a late flight we was aloud to keep it on. The entertainment staff adrian was really nice and friendly and always spoke when he saw you and was always smiling. There was entertainment every night such as reptile shows, karaoke and they also played bingo where you could win euros. The beaches were really nice and the sea was really blue. You can catch a water taxi into san antonio. The weather was really hot the whole time we were there and it didnt rain once. Definitely wasn't worth the money i spent and its disappointing as it was my first time abroad. Overall san antonio bay is a nice place but i wouldnt come back to this hotel again and i definitely wouldnt recommend it to anyone either.

Just came back from an 11 night holiday at the Rosamar in June 2011. We found the hotel great, spotlessly clean with friendly and courteous staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Although food could sometimes be repetative it was delicious and we didn't have any problems. You certainly wouldn't starve thats for sure. Food was available from 8am until 9.30pm at night whether it be in the restaurant or at the snack bar. The only downside if you could call it that was the fact that the hotel was full of either families with very young children or 18-30 holiday makers. There weren't many in betweens i.e. couples away for a relaxing break. We made the mistake of thinking that the clubbers stayed in San Antonio itself but they appear to have spread to the Bay also. On the plus side we had no bother from rowdy guests. Everyone was extremely well behaved on the whole. Would I go there again? Possibly not because it was a bit too lively for us but that bears no relection on the hotel. Had that been in a quieter place I would most definitely have gone back. Also there is a great pub just across the road called the "Old Smugglers Inn". Worth checking out. The staff there make you really welcome and the drinks aren't bad either. They also serve food for someone fancying a change from hotel food. Didn't try it but it looked nice. Oh and forgot to mention the entertainment at the Rosamar is quite good also. Something different every night.

Just returned from a 10-night trip with 3 friends on a clubbing/relaxation holiday (if there is such a thing!) and from the moment we arrived at the Rosamar, we were impressed.
We arrived at 9pm and were told at reception that our room had been double-booked..however we were given a 4-bed studio along with an apology and waiver of the €150 security deposit - happy days!
As promised, the following morning we were moved to our new rooms, which were upgraded to an adjoining pair with a total of 3 balconies, air-conditioning, fridge/cooker/microwave and 2 bathrooms with views out onto the bay. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well-equipped with excellent A/C and showers. The rest of the hotel was of a similar standard - clean, modern and the reception staff we dealt with were enthusiastic and helpful. The list of items available to hire was also surprising, ranging from irons to cd players to electric fans.
A few early mornings arriving at the hotel ~6am after the big club nights, the night staff were strict on not allowing guests from the other wing of the hotel into our rooms, but we could understand this after reading previous reviews of the hotels' intolerance of rowdy younger guests.
As we were staying on an all-inclusive basis, we ate in the hotel a lot of the time. Breakfast was good with a wide selection and plenty of it, as was lunch and dinner with a different selection each day and never a shortage of a particular food - couldn't ask for a better service on the gastronomy side of things.
The pool and sun terrace were clean, well-kept and with plenty of sun-loungers, even though it was evident many guests had ignored the no-towel-reserving rule of the hotel - tut tut!
The bar had a decent selection of drinks and with generous measures, who can complain at the cheap vodka...bar snacks were decent and were a saviour on the days where we slept through breakfast(!)
The night entertainment seemed varied and lively, with things on offer such as a reptile show and men-vs-women nights which was interesting..most nights however we were in our rooms listening to music until we headed out after 10pm.
After an exceptional 10 nights in Ibiza, we went down to reception on the morning of our departure and were given access to a secure room in which we could place our luggage until our bus would collect us at 4pm. As an apology for the initial room mistake at the start of our stay, we were also free to keep our all-inclusive bands up until our departure at 4pm.
Bien hecho Rosamar - keep up the good work!

went here in may 2010 and loved it. the pools were so cold u couldnt even kneel down in the kids pool. other than that everything was perfect; the staff were very friendly, the apartments were very spacious (ecspecially the bathroom),there is a small waterpark about 5 mins walk away that has a few slides, a water sprinkling palm tree and a small climbing frame with a barrel that pour water all over the unlucky person standing underneath!
overall great holiday but go in summer!
