We ended up staying at the Mira Mola after the apartment we booked was suddenly booked was 'not available'. The apartments at the Mira Mola are OK. We had a two bedroom apartment for two of us so there was plenty of room, although if there had been more of us it would have started to get cramped, but it was cheap so you get what you pay for. The staff were friendly and efficient. The cleaners came more or less every day and were very good at slipping in and cleaning around me when I was asleep. We had also booked a room with a sea view, however we were on the firt floor and didn't have a good view of the sea, although I'm sure the view would have been better on the higher floors. BUT, the apartments were often really, really, noisy during the day. The noise is a combination of people round the pool, on their balconies and on the street. There was a lot of very noisy people staying there, and why not. If people want to have a laugh and make noise on their holiday then they should be allowed to. My problem was that I was oot most of the night in bars and clubs so I like to sleep during the day. It was so noisy I found it very difficult to sleep. It was usually very quiet and peacefull at night. So don't stay there if you like it quiet during the day, if you don't mind a lot of Euronoise then it's a good place to stay.

We stayed here in September 08. When we arrived we witnessed a heated arguement between someone trying to check in and the burly looking guys who apparently worked there. This was apparently because there had been a mix up on the name of one of the guesta and even though the room had been booked for 6 people, 1 of the 6 was not allowed to enter the hotel.
On our second night (1st night we went out as we arrived in the middle of the night the night previous) we came back to find we had been burgalled. The door and patio doors were locked. No immediate signs of forced entry. When we reported it to the front desk they were rude, unhelpful and reasoned that we must have had our key stolen from our bag (and then returned to our bag) during the night. This seems very unlikely, if not impossible!
Having since read reviews on here where people have had belongings stolen in the same manner, am even more convinced that our belongings were stolen by staff with keys.
To top it off, my holiday insurance will not pay out due to the fact there was no physical evidence of forced entry!
I would never stay here again if you paid me!!

What a bargain!
We stayed at the mira mola for 1 week,5 may-12may 2007.Having paid only £400 for a family of 4 it was excellent! The mira mola only opened for the season the day we went so everything was fresh and clean, the apartments are basic but have everything you need for a self catering holiday.
The pool area does get very busy and you have to be up at the crack of dawn if you want a sunbed, but who wants to spend all day around the pool when you've got lovely beaches on the doorstep.
The bar around the pool is quite cheap and although we never ate there plenty of people did and the food looked nice.
Playa den bossa is only about 15mins stroll down the prom,we spent most nights there, having small children there was more for them to do.
If you want a great english place to eat joanne and darrens on the sea front is excellent, its very child friendly with toys and little tables and you can get a propper home cooked meal with mash and veg.
Moby dicks on the main road to playa den bossa is great for drinks,Jimmy who runs it is a right character and brill with kids.
The water park in playa den bossa is a must, something there for the little ones and adults.
The only down side to these apartments is that there was no lift to the first floor in the second building, which meant we had to carry our buggy up and down a flight of stairs.Once on the first floor there is a lift to all the others, but i would recommend that if travelling with a pushchair you ask for a ground floor room.
We all really enjoyed our holiday, had great weather and would definately go back again.

These apartments are definately not for families. The first morning after we arrived we were woken at 9.30am by a 'disco' in the apartments behind and above, sometimes the music would start at 4am and would carry on well into the next day. The night before we came home the music started in the early hours and was still going at 9am when we left for the airport.
The apartments themselves are ok - clean and basic, with clean towels most days. The staff behind the bar are friendly and helpful - the food however is terrible - steer clear!
There were no other English people staying there while we were - there were plenty of Italians and Spanish. Some of the Italians being very rude and spent most of their time staring at us and using the zoom lense on their cameras so that they could get a closer look!
If you are going to Ibiza to go clubbing then Mira Mola is ideal - if you need 8 hours sleep a night and plenty of peace and quiet, avoid like the plague!

As every one else I had read the reviews and thought oh my god I'm going there, however when we got there it was a different story...
There was plenty to do and lots to see, our rep was really helpful and booked us on days out. We went on the Four Corners of Ibiza bus ride out, this was fantastic and great if you want to visit other parts of Ibiza but don't drive. Playa den Bossa was a nice walk to and there you have Joanne and Darrens that makes lovely Sunday dinners, a night club and Big Bens and loads of bars encouraging you with 2 for 1s. Then in Figueretas you have Mikes Kitchen with great food, Moby Dicks where the bar man is soo outrageous, there's the Queen Vic with all your home tv comforts. Far down past the tourist info centre there is 2 really and I mean really nice chinese restaurants and a mexican.
The Mira Mola's best asset is Tito I wanted to take him back home as he would do any thing for you and is always smiling and really jolly. There was only really 2 problems 1: Our shower wouldn't work and the hot water couldn't fill the bath, we did report this a few times but nothing done but luckily my parents were above so me and my boyfriend hijacked theirs. 2: Our room was above the pool filters and so the men always cleaned it at daft o'clock in the morning had a chuckle and a chat then slammed these doors and went again.
I had a really good time and my parents have been back 3 times since and probably going again.

The Pros - These apartments are well located in a nice resort, with a nice view of the sea. The apartments are clean, of a reasonable size and you get a separate bedroom from the kids. Friendly staff. Nearby good sized, good value local supermarket, near to McD's for moaning kids, a nice walking distance to Ibiza Town to visit the Fortress and harbour. A nice walking distance to Aqualand in Playa Den Bossa.
The Cons - Most Chavey clientèle ever, probably my own fault for going allocate on arrival, 90% of the hotel sat by the pool side from dusk till dawn never leaving the hotel premises all holiday. The kitchen appliances such as the hob are hard to figure out, the logo indicating the heat setting was incorrectly fitted. The wiring is more than a bit iffy. I got robbed, PLEASE make sure you double lock your doors, some of the other guests are very unsavoury. The last gripe is that the air hockey table will be played by kids until about 1am every morning and you may find it difficult to sleep with the constant pinging.
Overall the apartments are nice and the resort is lovely, its just the clientèle that were not my cup of tea.
My advice is go out and explore, unless you are the sort of chav that wants to sit with other chavs for a whole week in which case you will be in heaven.
Lock your doors properly.

Myself Partner and 3 Year Old Daughter.
I was disappointed at the Mira Mola. Having read the bad reports posted on here by others I thought some was a bit farfetched. Having stayed here last year in August for 2 weeks had no probs in booking to have a late second holiday this year. MISTAKE.
The apartments are understaffed. Tito the bar manager is overworked and looked exhausted also meaning that there was long waits for drink etc. Also required URGENTLY is a night security guard to keep noise to a minimum staying on the first floor our bedroom window was right next to the stairs which are a haven for 10 year old to middle teens to be running up and down in, sometimes till 2 in the morning.
On one occasion the older teens thought it would be a good idea to jump in the pool drunk at aprox 1.30 to be joined by a proud dad taking t shirt and trainers of before joining them in the pool.
Some of the guest are fantastic as they were last year but some do make you ashamed to say you are British.
Overall the place needs reworking more stricter night policies regarding noise and maybe a good old fashioned cd jukebox in the bar area to create a atmosphere at night time.

Having seen some bad reviews on-line we were apprehensive but decided to make up our own minds. The sad fact is they were all true. The apartments were in such a bad state of repair that doors did not close in our apartment, basic kitchen equipment was either not working or completely missing, every time we put the cooker rings on it blew the trip switch making the idea of self catering a farce, the bottom of the pool has sharp grills which cut the childrens feet, there were fragments of glass around the pool area and to cap it all we ended up having to move apartments twice (after much heated discussion with reception) because our electrics would blow the minute we put the shower on. This was explained by the maintenance man (such as he was) as damp in the walls!!!
When we arrived we discovered there was no smoke alarm in our apartment and even after reporting it 6 TIMES it still took 4 days for one to be fitted. We did of course report all of this to our holiday rep, who wrote out reports for us and showed very little sympathy or interest. She however became a problem herself as every time she was in residence she would have very loud parties with banging bass music that went on till 5.30am and I'm sure it would have been later had the guests not made so much fuss she eventually slammed her doors and stalked off!!!
We were informed by the rep that the Mira Mola were not in Thompsons 2008 brochure and I hope this is true but if you are tempted, take some good advice and STAY WELL AWAY. The only saving grace in the whole place was the pool side bar where Tito the Barman was courteous, helpful and overall the only nice thing about the whole place. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the beach...... dirty water, rubbish and such a smell of rotting seaweed that made the it whole area unpleasant.

I booked the Mira Mola through a travel agent and then read some reviews and thought, 'oh deer' have I made a mistake.
We arrived for a ten day stay and our first impression was that we were the oldest people staying their, 48&60.
The apartment we were allocated was on the top floor with two balconies with fantastic sea views.
The noise of doors slamming, people singing, clapping, arguments, music, etc, made our stay sometimes intolerable, however it was the World Cup, another mistake.
I was nearly going to move and book in to another hotel.
I complained one evening about the noise, a group of young Europeans were singing and clapping in to the early hours, the night security eventually calmed things,I think I had a face like 'thunder'.
Also our bed collapsed and I'm not sure the kitchen would pass health and safety regulations.
The staff were lovely and the maids were good. If it wasn't for the fab sea views,my ear plugs and the occasional sleeping pill, I would have moved.
This hotel/apartments are not for the more mature people.
