El Cortijo Apartments

my husband and i stayed there with our 2 children for 2 weeks, we arrived to be very disappointed with our apartment.we had no hot water, and the only way you got your towels changed was if you chased the maids who really didn,t give 2 hoots!!! we only had our beds changed once in 2 weeks only because i dumped our bedding at the maids feet so she had no choice in the matter! we requested a pool view, the only way you got 1 was if you stood on a chair and twisted your whole body around. oh and if you do happen to stay there take ya ear plugs as we had 4 howling dogs over our balcony in a private villa! on the plus side i would really recommend es cana for families lovely resort with plenty to do; oh stay away from apache bar what a rip off!!! i would recommend the solimar restaurant good value and lovely food.

Spotless apartments, thou look a little dated, but very clean and maid changed towels everyday. You can request a room with air con before you arrive, they do not advertise this as they only have 6 rooms with air con, there are also three roof top apartments with fantastic views and these can be requested at no extra charge either. I got the normal Ibizabus from the airport number 24 for 4 euro and it is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop in Es Canar, the taxi's are 33 euro. My second time in Es Canar and we had a wonderful holiday, looking formward to returning next year.

just returned from a weeks holiday at these appts, we only managed 1 night! no hot water no beds made, no reception(only open 9 till 2) so no one to complain to except the guy in the bar who couldnt be bothered he told us to wait till recp opened. The appt was very basic not enough cuttlery or pans etc for 4 people. does not look like any of the photos on web site, no hot water the following day so had no choice but to leave the dump so we used all our spending money to book all inclusive hotel in portinax. I would advise nobody to go there unless you like sluming it.

we stayed for 1 week here, staff fantastic, the food in the nags head was great, the appartment was clean and kept very clean by the staff, a relaxed place to visit, could have stayed longer, i would recomend this to anyone, 300 metres from anywhere, english beer, kept very cold, we booked this direct with the hotel, and kept in touch by e mail about 40 euro in a taxi from the airport to the appartment, well worth the money we paid, and will be going back a very good place to be

We stayed at the El Cortijo 6th Aug for a week. There were myself, my husband and two teenage daughters.
The apartments were very spacious. We have a separate bedroom. There was a full bathroom suite (although small) which was suitable for our needs. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was even an iron and
ironing board! The balcony was very big. There was ample wardrobe and drawer space. We had our bins cleaned fairly regualary but only had a change of towels
once but we managed. Contrary to other peoples comments about the bar being a betting shop, this never happened during our stay. The staff were very friendly indeed, nothing too much trouble! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Es Cana and I would definitely recommend these apartments without hesitation!

we had a holiday here 27 july until 10th august and throughly enjoyed wow is all i can say brilliant. the hotel is basic. the apartment had all you needed especially the kitchen, it had all the utensils crockery and cooking equipment you need. we got there on the evening and all beds was made up even the one in the lounge. the hotel has a friendly bar with has an english barman and irish chef. the hotel is run by an english couple also who was so so friendly. the bar has pool tables, dart board and machines to go on facebook, internet or play games. (The reviews i read said that the locals come into the bar betting) this never happened once in two weeks. there is a small shop in the hotel too but we found a reasonable supermarket that sold everything we wanted. the pool is lovely and clean, my children was in there at 8 at night some nights before we went out whilst we had a drink in the bar. the beach is a few minutes walk away and all i can say is wow. pure sand and for someone who doesnt like the sea i was in there all the time. you just steadily walk out to it, there is no hidden drops at all. the only thing was there was lots of seeweed. the place to go in the evening is charlies bar on the seafront. brilliant brilliant brilliant. they have bingo at 9 and then entertainment all evening. the only place that has a dance floor and is open until 4 every morning. we got to know alot of staff in there mostly english also. we saw the jacksons tribute, take that tribute, robbie williams tribute. and one evening they had fancy dress which was great for my two girls to dress up as hula hulas lol. we miss charlies so much. the food is quite cheap to eat out, we ended up eating out all the time. there is lots of restaurants selling 3 course meals for 7 euros which included wine or a beer and beleive me these meals was ample. the only place to stay away from is Apaches. the meal was really cheap but there was 5 of us and the meals came out in dribs and drabs so the first had finished eating by the time the last meal came out. we miss this place so much it is a very romantic preety place and i would recommend the holiday to anyone. we was 2 adults a 15yr old boy, 10yr girl and 8yr girl

I have just returned from a one week stay at the El Cortijo apartments in Es Cana, Ibiza and was so impressed with the value for money holiday we had. Whilst basic, they were cleaned and spacious and we were very lucky to ahve the biggest terrace area on the top floor overlooking the pool. I can't understand why they are only a 1 star. My two children had a fantastic time in the pool and at the beach which is only a 3/5 minutes walk away. Marvent cafe/bar is a must along the seafront. We had a fabulous holiday and would certainly stay here again.

Just returned this week from a holiday in El Cortijo Aparments Ibiza.The apartments are basic, all that we needed, very clean and the maid service was excellent,very near the beach and shops, but quiet enough for a relaxing holiday,We found Als Bar in the centre of Es Cana, who do a very nice breakfast at a reasonable price, and in the evening Fatmoes bar is a must, very friendly bar staff.very enjoyable holiday.

The El Cortijo apts are perfect for the quieter holiday. They are a few minutes walk to the beach which was beautiful apart from the jelly fish. The apts were perfect for myself & my 2teenage children. They were spacious, clean and fully equipped.
Lito and the staff were always on hand day and night. They were friendly and very welcoming. I made a big mistake and read my flight info wrong and yes you've guessed missed my flight. Lito and his staff & family were fabulous in accomodating us for the extra night and then helping find new flights the next day. True customer care!!!
Overall the holday was super. The bar area converted into a bookys during the day but the pool area remained peaceful.

Myself, my husband and our 2 children aged 2 and 5 stayed at these apartments in August. We honestly had no complaints to make about them at all. They were very clean and tidy, although basic, but adequate for what you need.
The apartments are situated about a 5 minute stroll away from the main 'strip' of shops, restaurants and bars and the beach.
I would definatly recommend these to all.
We are infact returning here next august.
