This was my second stay at the plaza in three years. My wife and I stayed here with another couple for a sprcial birthday. The satff in all areas of the hotel are very helpful and freindly.Peter who manages the bar and restuarant is always very polite and makes sure that all of the geusts are looked after.The staff in the dinning room are very efficient and again very freindly especialy Martha.The food in the hotel is ok but we did eat out on a couple of occasions.The hotel is kept clean and tidy at all times we had maid service every day with clean towels.This hotel is ideal for couples young and old and is situated in an ideal area of Santa Ponsa with the beech at your door. Visit Jackie's restuarant for a nice meal situated next to burger king, and for a good hearty breakfast visit Ricky's next to the Portofino apartments. For entertainment check out the square lots of live tribute shows every night or the Irish bars.The Dubliner is always in full swing.

I booked this holiday on the Internet the week before we went. When we arrived on the Thursday night we were informed the Hotel was overbooked. We were told we would be moved to another Hotel around the corner until the Saturday, and on our return we would be upgraded to All Inclusive.



The Hotel they moved us to was just around the corner and they paid for taxis there and back. This was a minor problem which really gave us a chance to sample another hotel (Hesperia) in the resort. True to their word we were upgraded on the Saturday.



The hotel was clean, basic but had everything you would require. The food was great this was sold as a 2* star but the food was above this. My husband and I went for a relaxing week in the sun and that’s what we got. There was a lot of families and mixes of ages at the Hotel and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.



I really liked the resort of Santa Ponsa; I've been to other resorts in Mallorca and would definitely go back. Our holiday was booked through IceLolly.com and we had no problems.



The transfers were great 20 mins in a people carrier, ideal.

My friend, her son and I went here, we found too be very pleasant.



Rooms were basic but nice clean and were cleaned everyday. Plenty of clean towels, and sheets. Had a balcony with nice view.



Food was very nice, as for us being on half board, we usually missed our breakfast, think it was from 830 till 1030 unfortunately we always slept in and couldn't get anything, even if we were 10 minutes late.



Staff were very nice and friendly always willing to help.



Had a small pool which was always freezing cold, and I mean cold.



Beach was just across the road about 1 minutes walk, it was beautiful with white sand and green blue water warm water lovely and very clean.



Shops were 5 minutes walk very handy.



I will go back here it’s was great would recommend this resort and hotel. Very pleasant.

We have recently returned from a month long stay at the Plaza Hotel. We found the hotel to be very clean and the staff very pleasant. Within Santa Ponsa the hotel was well situated with access to a wide range of facilities.



On the down side however, we found the food to be very disappointing with no menus provided, therefore no indication of what each dish consisted of. We found that if food was not eaten at one meal it was reserved at the following meal.



During a long stay holiday you expect to have a range of entertainment available, however this was not the case. We were further disappointed by the lack of TV, coffee and tea making facilities and refrigerator within the room.



Several of the holiday makers made complaints including ourselves however there was no obvious sign of improvement by the time we left.



Overall we were disappointed with our holiday and would not recommend the hotel to friends.

An excellent location and extremely pleasant staff.



The food was buffet style and perfectly acceptable although one or two over fussy eaters were heard to complain about it. There was always a very varied choice of hot and cold food to choose from. The pool area was very quiet at all times with plenty of sun loungers.



The taxi drivers at the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy though, particularly late at night. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing holiday and I would have no qualms about returning to this hotel.

On my recent visit to Santa Ponsa with my wife and my father-inlaw to the plaza hotel we found it very clean and very friendly. We stayed on a half board basis the food was ok but sometimes not the best of choice having said this the staff are very helpful and having bean to the resort before we knew plenty of good restaurants. The location of the hotel is ideal near enough to all the bars and entertainment but far enough away for a good nights sleep. This is an ideal hotel for couples young and old but maybe not for young children as there is no entertainment.
