We booked Sol Palmeras as Virgin recommended it to be one of the better hotels. We also had friends staying at Blau Veradero just up the road and their hotel was much much much nicer & the staff were reallt courteous and polite...unlike the staff... read more

Advice: Would go back to Veradero but not to this hotel unless it was really cheap!

Activities: The steak house restaurant was amazing - best part of the holiday & best service in the hotel!!

Activities: Jeep Safari great, Catamaran Trip great and overnight in Havana was £25 pesos special offer good

Virgin usually very good for holidays, but to Cuba as this was a new destination for them at the time, they don't warn you that getting off the plane and through customs at havana airport will take a few hours as they are so slow.
