What an amazing place, I came for a week with my family in august 2011. The staff are very polite and friendly, the food was lovely, the rooms were clean and tidied often. The pool was clean and the slide was safe and fun. The entertainment was okay, the drinks and food round the front at the bar were very cheap and good quality! It was great, an amazing holiday and an amazing hotel, we would definitely recommend going to this hotel!:D

We stayed at the Club Ilayda in July 2011 and we had the BEST time! All the staff were very polite and helpful, the rooms were clean and the restaurant sold cheap and delicious food. We had been to Turkey before but stayed at a much 'cheaper' hotel, yet found this was very good value and a world apart.
Were werent on the beach front, but this was a benefit as the staff turned the music off at midnight so we could get a good nights sleep, yet Bar Street was only a 10 minute walk away.
We found a great excursion office to book all our tours with, 'Nostradamus Travel'. We tried a Turkish Bath at 'Uncle Johns', directly opposite the hotel, but we werent impressed with the sevice so thought we'd try next door at Nostradamus, and boy were we glad we did!' The Turkish guide who helped us, Evim ( I think!), gave us so much advise, from which tours to go on, on which days, to local restaurants that offered the best value.
We ate at 'Amfi' restaurant a few times, or waiter, 'Pysco' was particualy lovely, believe it or not! If you eat dinner of a night time you get a full English breakfast the next morning for free! (Again, one of Evrims reccomendations!)
All in all, we had a fabulous family holiday and would reccommend Club Ilayda to Anyone!
- Advice: Book excursions for a chance to see real Turkey and ask the locals for advice!

Hotel accomodation was in 2 blocks the block we were in had been refurnished for this year and we were so lucky. If you go to this hotel go self catering as the food served to half board guests was basic and the same choice everyday, food purchased from the restaurant was reasonable. Staff not interested in families and couples only interested in groups of girls which they flirted round all day long.Music loud round the pool all afternoon couldn't talk to anyone without shouting don't try listening to your ipod.
We booked all our trips at Uncle John's just opposite the hotel, so easy and so much choice. Take the lazy boat trip, full day sunbathing and swim stops in the amazing blue see. We also went to turkish bath, jeep safari, mudbaths which was good fun.Highly recommended. Parasailing is a must and also available from unlce johns.

Just come back from a 2 week holiday here with my partner, 15 year old daughter and her friend. Having read some of the reports I was a bit dubious of what we were going to arrive to. However, we very extremely impressed. Accommodation was lovely, maids were in daily and there was plenty going on to keep everyone amused. Plenty sunloungers, really big pool and of course the big plus was the staff. We ate here a few times as well, the food was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. About a 15 minute walk into the main resort of Marmaris, but that was lovely on a cool evening! Would definetely go back.

Just home from club Ilayda, missing it so much!It is a good clean hotel, with a big pool, nice restuarant (you can go half-board although rooms also all have kitchens so its self catering aswell), really good bar! (best cocktails we had the whole time we were in marmaris!) professional photographer on daily. and amazing nightly entertainment (watching the breakdance shows etc was like waitching britains got talent live! it also had games on competitions on daily great for adults and kids! but what made our holiday was the staff at club ilayda- the nicest people I have ever met! they went completly out of their way to make sure we had a brilliant holiday. Being around such friendly people all the time just made me not want to come home! They were also brilliant with kids from having competitions to just playing ball with them! would recommend this hotel to anyone, and if ever back in marmaris would'nt stay anywhere else! I noticed there were some bad reviews of this hotel, but if you look at the date they are all written over a year ago, and i noticed that since then the hotel has been taken over by new management (who are lovely) and has recently been renovated! so the rooms are nice!

stayed at the club ilayda on 21st aug for 2 weeks, first few days we stayed in the un modernised rooms which we did incurr minor problems but on reporting to reception they kindly put us in the newly modernised section which they are doing to all rooms at the end of the year. all staff were very freindly and always took time to chat with you, the room was cleaned daily with new towels and always put fresh flowers on the beds to make it welcoming. the pools were great and the food was good, booking again for next year the only downside is we have to wait 12 months to go back.. great place to stay

I've just spent a week at this hotel with my 18yr old cousin, I'm 23. We were very impressed with our room upon arriving at 5.30am ish. The whole of the main block has been renovated. The rooms are lush. Very smart, trendy and modern. They were attended each day buy the cleaners, thought not 100% sure what they did other then straighten the bed, which I did myself most days. Towels were changed however, maybe 2 or 3 times through out the week.
The pool is clean, fair size, the slide is great fun, not monitored though so rings and lilo's make it even more of a laugh. Limited Sun beds space, though staff are happy to find/create more by packing away part of the bar area which is connected to the pool. For sun all day you'll need to be up about 9am to reserve a bed in true peter kay style.
The Hotel is located a good 15minute walk (healthy speed) from the beach, bars and restaurants. This main street however is great for all your knock off and gifts for home. Many places to eat, all very cheap, Slightly more if you actually want to eat on the sea front but you can get 3courses at most places for around £7 = 13/14TL. This would include, bread with Mezes - Turkish dips, usually Garlic/Mint/Chilli, Soup, Chicken/Pizza or Pasta and ice cream or Tea/Coffee.
Didn't have breakfast more then once but that's advertised everywhere for 5TL = £2. Though the drinks will cost as much as the breakfast, evening out of prices.

My husband & I stayed here on 16th sept 2011 for 2 wks & would not be back. On arrival we had to drag our cases up 2 flights of a tight spiral staircase. The long corridor to room was very dark & grubby. The room itself was very basic, we had a sort off pool view as trees growing up by some balconys. \the maids idea off cleaning was coming about 6pm when you are just up from pool & trying to get showers, run a dirty mop over floors & empty bins. We went to rep who said there was afew complaints & was being dealt with but that was not the case. We also had to keep asking for clean towels. The staff at bar & pool are were very unpleasant. It is about a 15 to 20 min walk to main drag. We have been going to Marmaris for ten years & never expierenced this before, so beware.
