This hotel has an excellent location just a short work from Dam square. he hotel is at best ok, the room I stayed in was very small, with no view whatsoever.
The facilities are better with a good dinning area with a wide range of Dutch food for breakfast, and helpful reception.
And staff If you want a hotel that’s good value for money its probably best to look elsewhere. But if you want a central Location and moneys no object it might be worth giving it a go.

Within walking distance of Central Railway station, opposite the Concert bowl, this 3 star hotel is in a quiet location yet not far from most of the tourist haunts.
Reception staff not the most friendly(business like but not friendly) and you would expect a 3 star hotel to have air conditioning in the rooms(it was stifling hot at night).
Breakfast room clean and a nice selection of cold foods such as bread, cereals, meats etc.
The rooms were of average size but had comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with bath, shower and toilet, and had a safe(combination lock) included in the rate.
Overall slightly overpriced in my opinion but because of the location, they seem to have no trouble in filling this hotel. If pushed I would certainly stay here again if a bargain rate was offered.

Nice Clean quiet room. Portable small TV with not many English channels but with some pay per view movies. Nice quiet bar and restaurant.
The hotel looks like it has recently undergone a refurbishment so it looks nice and modern for a reasonable price. Staff were polite although there was a bit of confusion at first when we arrived to a computer failure and there was a 5-10 min wait for the porter to come and put our bags in storage (as we were early). I think these little things can’t be avoided and they still checked us in and too are bags to storage within 15 min.
However, I can't fault it as I paid around £30 per night and will use this hotel again.
Within 2 mins walk to the Rembrandt Square with plenty of restaurants and cafe's nearby to eat. You should consider getting a pass for the whilst in Amsterdam this way you can see much more. The Rembrandt Square itself is undergoing a restoration with several large statues in the centre. Away from the red light district (if that’s not your thing) although still within walking distance (if that’s your thing).
There are so much more thing to do in Amsterdam than you can mention, for example I jumped on a tram to the station and got a train and I was on a tour at the Ajax stadium in under 30 mins.
Although not an art lover I went to the Rembrandt museum and found it to be the most enjoyable day the whole experience was excellent although I wouldn’t recommend the Van Gough museum as I thought his paintings were rubbish and he is overrated. As you can imagine being a big city there are plenty of shops, restaurants and everything else that Amsterdam is famous for.
The canal tours are a fantastic way to see the city I would recommend doing one tour in the day and a different tour at night.
