Submitted By: Miss S LimbrickThe room itself was simple but clean and spacious. The linen was changed regularly. The pool bar offers some cheap drinks and light snacks throughout the day.
Falaraki town its self has a lot to offer guest of all ages, from bars and clubs to tours around the islands and boat trips. The beach is also lush with lots of places to eat close by.

Submitted By: adrian2Faliraki is lively, plenty of bars and restaraunts, small fairground for the kids, did`nt see any trouble, no realy bad behaviour, very hot, nice place.
Now the negatives, staff on flight out were`nt as good/nice as on the way home, seemed more interested in messin about and having a laugh than doing their job, i asked for a bottle of water as my wife had to take timed meds on arrival at Rhodes, 20 mins later and with the seat belt sign on the steward walked past and looked at me and said "oh sorry i totally forgot about you" and then went to get it. On the way home they were much better.
The apartments are very very basic, 2x electric rings, fridge, sink, cupboard, plates, bowls etc... NO toaster/grill/kettle/microwave (the whole idea of self catering is to mostly do your own food) this meant all you could realy do was rolls/sandwiches/soup, no bacon sarnie/toastie/beans on toast etc.. these are the little snacks that get you through the day before you go out for a meal and a beer in the night.
Now you can go downstairs to the bar/reception and buy all of this there, ham & cheese toastie/full english brekky etc... but as the Pound is so crap against the Euro at the mo it works out bloody expensive, and this is what most of the people staying there did, now a few of us went to the local mini markets to buy bits/beers etc... to have in the room and so we noticed that as the week went on and we werent spending at the bar (0.75 for Mythos @ mini market, 2.50 @ bar) we were talked to less and by the end of the week totally ignored so if you dont buy your food and drinks from the bar you`ve been warned. (by the way you even have to supply your own toilet roll after the one they give you runs out! tight or what?)
So if you`ve got plenty of money and you are too lazy to even make toast in the morning then this place is for you, you`ll love it (the food is good) but if you realy want self catering and you are on a bit of a budget i`d give it a miss.
We are 36yrs & 42yrs, well traveled, been from All Inc in Bulgaria down to this place so weve done a good mix.

Submitted By: Miss L WatermanRodos Sun is a lovely hotel, very clean, but Kitchen is very basic - 2 rings, fridge, sink, cutlery and plate each, a few saucepans. So to heat water you needed to use saucepan. No oven either.
Location is good, about a 15 min walk to bar/club street. There is two ways to go, down the main roads or across a dirt track. Both about same distance.
rooms were cleaned twice in our 10 day stay. Wasnt a problem but the towels did get a bit dirty.
Staff are lovely, you must attend the BBQ on monday nights, we won 92 euros on the card bingo!
Faliraki itself is absolutely gorgeous, as it is known as a 18-30 and twentys hot spot i expected it to be a bit 'chavvy' admittedly there was a few larger louts out at night. But the bar street and club street were great, no sick or mess on the streets. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. One of the nicest beachs ive been too. Toilets were also always stocked with toilet paper in the toilets next to Acropolis bar.
Highly recommended town and hotel. Will definitely visit again.

Submitted By: Mr B OsinThe atmosphere at Rodos was very relaxing and friendly. Whether you're up for a dip in the pool or sitting at the bar. I missed the famous bbq which was a shame but overall a great place to stay because you've got genuinely good people looking after you.
Thanks Nic and family. Would definitely go back to Rodos Sun when in Faliraki.

Definitely going back next year, just the kind of place we were looking for; basic accommodation and close to the nightlife! Would recommend to anyone.

Submitted By: Miss C HollandThe family run complex is one of the best I have ever stayed in and I have travelled all over Greece to the different resorts and this as been by far the best. What more can you ask for when the family can’t do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are more than happy to help you with anything.
The hotel itself is spotless and clean throughout, rooms bar and pool area everywhere. The family are friendly and welcoming and have now become my second family. The family also show you around the resort on their nights off and sometimes tend to go out on a night out with you to show you the best places to eat and drink.
The hotel is close to all the local shops and supermarkets and is a nice strolling distance to club and bar street and a little further to the beach. The resort itself and the people are lovely and there are some fabulous restaurants. Please don’t believe all you read about Falaraki it is a lovely place and caters for everyone family’s couples and the young.
The hotel offers a nice mix and doesn’t have any messing as the hotel respects all its customers. The family and the hotel has become my second home along with the people we met there last year who again returned this year at the same time, it was great.
BBQ night is a hit and the food fabulous! Thank you George. Missed Stella this year but Nick, Mira and Alexi looked after us. I enjoyed it that much that my parents are going in 2 weeks time, they were put off Greece last year because of the forest fires in Halkidiki but I know they will have a excellent time at the rodos sun.
I definitely recommend this hotel and resort to anyone. Well until next year rodos sun!!!

Submitted By: Miss L ChappellAnyone who listens to what people say about Faliraki are missing out on a fantastic holiday, it isn’t anything like I heard it was. It is a case of don’t judge a book by its cover! There are people of all ages and so many things for you to do, the restaurants/clubs/bars are all very enthusiastic and really nice (and generous) when inside!!
With a warm, welcoming atmosphere I think that The Rodos Sun 100% makes the holiday though! Everyone was commenting on how much they enjoyed being at the hotel and how nice the family that own it were.
The BBQ night was great, I think everyone attended it and they all said the next day how they thoroughly enjoyed it. The family are very helpful, friendly, and polite to all guests and make everyone feel at home by talking to them and actually being interested, unlike some people who only pretend!
Nick was very friendly to all the guests and came out with us to show people Bar and Club Street, which I recommend going to!
After only being at the hotel for about 3 minutes, I locked myself in the toilet so it gave everyone a laugh! The family were great though, and weren’t rude to me or my friend for the inconvenience I caused, infact they joked the most about it!!
I couldn’t fault the hotel in any way, for self-catering you get a bargain! It is clean, bright, and cheery and has a great pool!
I am glad that I chose The Rodos Sun to go to and I will be returning next year, with more friends! So toilet doors ready... See you next year!
