We stayed in Thorness bay for a week in May 2007.The park was clean tidy and all amenities good.
The entertainment was fantastic and team stars a joy to watch especially Will and Egg. So much to do on the Island I recommend the needles and alum bay and Blackgang Chine and Shanklin chine.
Would definitely return.

Stayed at Thorness bay in our trailer tent for two weeks just comeback Would not recommend this site at all staff didn’t want to know any problems. New shower block does not work properly reported tapping leaking near our pitch making ground very wet. Three times... more

We have just returned from a booked 4 night stay at Thorness bay, but we came home after 3 nights. The park is in the middle of nowhere, with not much to do in the area, if that wasn't bad enough the facilities in the park were very poor. There isn't much choice of food in... more

Just got back from a fantastic holiday on the Isle of Wight.
Thorness Bay was a lovely park, the entertainers really went out of their way to make sure the kids had fun.
Would echo the comments about not queuing for your keys! Enjoy.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom mobile home, which was adequate for the two of us. Facilities on the site were rather poor, small indoor pool and Butlins style entertainment in the evening, more suited to families with young children. Recommend playing bingo at this time of the... more

Please please please avoid this site. Parc Resorts who "run" it describe it as their flagship park, which frankly is laughable. This is easily the worst park/site we have ever stayed on. If you want poor facilities, a dirty caravan, and surrounding countryside that stinks... more
