Odessos Hotel

The hotel Odessos is a clean, spacious hotel. It has been finished to a high standard and the hotel offers good facilities. The food, however, was not to 4* standard. The buffet style selection is basic and the same sort of food is served nightly. The food really leaves the hotel down.
The rooms are big and have air conditioning.
The resort of Golden Sands was quite commercialised. There were lots of people handing out leaflets and by the end of the fortnight, it became increasingly annoying to have leaflets thrown in your face each evening. Also, it was quite uncomfortable to be grabbed by prostitutes touting for business each evening. They could also become quite aggressive.
Bulgaria is excellent for a cheap holiday if you are happy lazing around on the beach all day or by the pool. There were not many excursions offered by the travel companies and not a great deal to do around the resort.
