My boyfriend and I booked the Alexia last minute and didn’t expect much. However I am glad to say that we were pleasantly surprised!
The location is excellent, turn left for bar street or right for the beach (although as others have said, it can be a bit noisy at night) It is also only about a 10 min walk from the stunning old town where there are some lovely restaurants!
The hotel itself is pretty basic, but is perfect as a base. The rooms were clean and not a bad size, the maid service was good and the staff at reception and behind the bar were fantastic and very helpful!
Probably would not go back to Rhodes Town again but if I did I would go back to the Alexia!

The Alexia Hotel is best suited to quite lively people, suited to all ages- although it can be quite noisy as it is on the same street as all the nightclubs and bars. It is just minutes walk from the beach and we found it to be very convenient. The service is excellent, and the rooms were cleaned everyday, with no signs of ants! There was entertainment some nights provided by the hotel e.g. an Elvis Presley impersonator, and karaoke.
Overall, we feel that this hotel was ideal and we are going back this year. We would perhaps mention that we are 18 and so this would give an indication as to what constitutes a "good" holiday and an "ideal" location. We have stayed in other places in Rhodes Town and found the Alexia Hotel to be the best.

My friend Lisa and I stayed for on week mid July, it was the first time either of us had been to Greece and we loved every minute of it. Even though Rhodes town is not typically a British resort, we were made so welcome by the locals, staff and fellow holidaymakers. I would definitely recommend the Alexia and it was clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. It makes a nice change to the typical 18-30’s Ibiza and Faliraki holidays as you actually feel as though your are on holiday rather than in your local town centre on a Friday night.
