This is the second year we have stayed here and find it hard to believe anyone can be negative about it.
An ideal location.
Friendly and helpfull staff.
Excellent room service.
Gardens and pool immaculate.
Asked for extra pillows,a sheet and even soap, and all were there within an hour.
What more could you ask for when you are paying a low price.

We have just returned from a 10 day stay here, the hotel was very clean and the gardens very well kept.
The staff were always happy, although some could be a bit pushy at times. Balconys are small, but then again how much time do you spend in your hotel room?!
Breakfast just normal turkish (cheese, bread, olives etc)
The hotel is in an excellent position just yards from the strip.
Would stay here again.

We have just returned from Karbel Sun and found it to be a very friendly hotel staff were really helpfull and went out off there way to make our stay enjoyable.The pool, garden and bar areas were a pleasure to sit in.The rooms were a little small but really clean.Will definitly be going back

Just returned from Olu Denis 05/06/2011 After reading some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive on what to expect after two days at the Karbelsun Hotel I had no doubts
Found all staff very friendly and approachable nothing was a problem
Rooms are adequate and cleaned regular
Restaurant has an exellent and varied menu cooked to high standard but I would like more whisky in my Irish Coffee WELL DONE Memmhet
Pool and surrounding ground areas kept to a high standard neat and tidy
Bar staff are kept busy and always find time to chat and give helpful advice Muzzy and Sadi
Reception well all I can say is to Ali is you have a good team as they can resolve problems better than the holiday reps
Paragliding is a must nothing to be scared of if you go to the beach and book with ACTION no hidden fees and proffesional staff

The hotel was below average. The rooms were very small, hardle any balcony or area to relax out of the sun. The breakfast was the poorest i've ever had on holiday, even compared to Tunisia and Egypt. It was boring and the breakfast staff were constantly bugging and annoying us while we were trying to eat. The pool was a nice size and the hotel is self was clean. The bar staff were rude at times and the hotel insisted in everyone using a room card to pay for everything. This was rather annoying when you are trying to manage your money through the week and meant to keep a check on it you would have to pay off the bill every night. No entertainment, no fun or laughter in fact. The positives were the hot water worked and Olu Deniz was a nice area to get out and about, away from the hotel. O yes, we only got one change of towels the whole time there in a week and when we asked if we could have some fresh ones the manager was very rude.

We stayed at the Karbel Sun Hotel on a half board basis from 13-20 September 2010. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. We asked for a room with a good view and got one overlooking the bay where we could watch paragliders. Not much variety at breakfast but adequate. Evening meal was very good - no choice, you just had what you were given so if a fussy eater you could have a problem. Rooms cleaned daily and the staff were friendly and helpful. We did a lot of relaxing around the pool as the temperatures were in the 30s. Recommend this hotel. Booked through Travelrepublic and couldn't fault price paid.

stayed at this hotel in September 2010 on a half board basis.......avoid at all costs......food was nothing more than kitchen slops, no choice and even the hotel dog turned is nose up at it!!
Reception staff acccused us of forgery when we tried to change a travellers cheque......despite him writing our passport and room number on the back and witnessing us sign the cheque, so we now have an invalid £100 travellers cheque!!
The only good thing about this hotel was the maids who are friendly and as efficient as possible given the limited cleaning equipment they have. The location is good.

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are quite small, but you are only there to sleep - the air con was very good which made the night time comfortable. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and very friendly. The pool was brilliant and shear heaven to just jump into and cool down.
The hotel is situated in an ideal location - 10 min walk to the beach and close to all the local shops and restaurants - but not noisy!
I would go back year after year, but my husband likes to try different countries - shame!

As a first time traveller to Turkey-usually go to Greece- I read up a lot and spoke to friends before booking to Olu Deniz.We liked the place but thought the hotel was average; depressing room 304, a 'dungeon room'in the basement with a view of the hotel washing and the solar panels-and no we couldn't be moved.We did at least have somewhere to sit outside. Cleanliness was average as well-we usually stay in this type of hotel in Greece ie. a '3star' so was not expecting the earth, just a clean comfortable room. Breakfast ok as expected -the usual bread fruit cheese. Didn't like the constant hassle to 'eat with us tonight' at breakfast and every time we walked past the restaurant-which you have to do to get out of the hotel.
Great beach-2 sunbeds and an umbrella were 18TL, so about what we paid last October in Rhodes, not a lot cheaper as we were led to believe.
Would definitely recommend beach front bar/restaurant Help-great food and lovely staff.

this year we will be returning for the third time to the Karbel Sun Hotel. it is one of the nicest, most friendly hotels, i.ve stayed in, including 3*/4*/5* hotels !
i really can.t understand where the negatives comments surrounding this hotel come from.
Ali the manager will do anything for you & he is always very pleasant + helpful.All the other staff are also very pleasant too.
Olu is a beautiful resort, very laid back + quiet.
Yes the rooms are a bit on the small side, but only use our room to change and sleep in.
we.ve always found the hotel to be extremely clean & well cared for.
we would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice quiet relaxing holiday.
the boat trips off the beach, are also great value for money. you can be out at sea from 10am to around 5pm, lunch included for around £5 each.
this year our friends will be hosting their wedding at the Karbel Sun, we.ve already booked to go back in May 10 for our own honeymoon + will also be going for 2wks Oct 10.
so it must have some appeal.
we also recommend "Cousins" a resturant about 5min walk from the hotel, who offer the most delicious cooked breakfasts & evening meals.
the blue lagoon is also must, beautiful clear blue water. they also offer a free bus service from most hotels.
