Les Alpages De chantel Apartments Reviews
" We stayed for one week over the... "

We stayed for one week over the February 2006 half term holidays and we thoroughly impressed by the quality of the apartment and the resort.
It is so refreshing that apartment builders/tour operators are finally waking up to the fact that people want more than a prefab shoe box of a ski apartment, and this is exactly what you get at Les Alpages du Chantel. The building is tastefully designed with stone and wood cladding to fit in with the natural environment. One of the best things about this accommodation is the location, it is situated right on the edge of a pleasant blue piste, just above the main village of Les Arcs 1800 and is truly ski in/ski out.
There is a small but well stocked on site bread shop, which also supplies pizzas and wine to take away in the evening and next door there is a high quality (if slightly expensive) restaurant run by a friendly couple and serving specials from the region as well as old favourites, such as magret de canard with honey sauce.
We had a great holiday, this resort is highly recommended.

We had a fab holiday. Accommodation was great!
All families of 4 had 2 separate bedrooms, WC, bathroom and ensuite (good quality shower room), big balcony with a view of Mont Blanc.
Weather was great and the children enjoyed the indoor pool after a long day on the pistes.
Only thing was that we were staying at Chantel 2 which was a big tricky to ski from with young children and was not very easy to ski back at the end of the day.
Up at Chantel 1 where there was a restaurant, bar, take-away and ski-set shop was certainly ski in and out.
Would book for that complex next time!
