This hotel is truley one of the nicest hotels i have been to,
I went in the summer or 2007 & 2008, and intened to go for 2011.
The hotel is within walking distance to a lovley beach, the weather was always nice, and the people are so friendly.
The staff at the hotel are extremly friendly. Espeacially the childrens entertainers, who provide excellent quallity of games and activites to take part in.
There are plenty of sunbeds for everyone.
The rooms were nice, bed sheets were cleaned every day. and fresh towels were lay.
The food was lovley there was a wide choice of styles to chose from.
Only downside to the hotel from both times when i was there, is the lifts, they tend to get stuck. so i stick to the stairs.
I would deffanatly recommed this hotel, to familys, and couples. i had a great time both times i went.

Look at all the reviews that are written most weeks. We have been coming to Princesa Dacil for the past 10 years 3 times a year. It is in a great position, we love all the staff who aim to please. I agree with some of the reviews regarding food etc it could be improvesd which I believe has in the last year. Winter time is the best as the same people are here and everyone joins in with everything that is going on. Not sure all inclusive has improved things it certainly hasnt for us as indoor bar has close earlier and we always enjoyed last drink in hotel and having chats with bar staff and waiters. Love going to bars in Los Cristianos always go Miners Retreat and say hello to Alan who owns it and then on to Dreamers to watch the show which is Derek and Mark an Iris coupke who are really good but really miss shows that they used to have on such as Rod Stewart, Cy Benson and Buddy Graham. Sorry to say, but the recession has had a big impact on Tenerife hope it can get back to what it was a couple of years ago

Checked in early evening to find superior room was surprisingly spacious with superb view from balcony but was shared with two pigeons who thought they owned the place.Found we were still in time to have dinner in the works canteen because that was probably the most accurate description for the depressing site that met us at the door. The food sadly lived up to works canteen standards and that's probably being unkind to the majority of these establishments. It was simply appalling. When you discover that the hair drier in the bathroom had a timer which cuts out after 25 seconds you start to realise that the meally mouthed accountants who run this place have ordered cut backs at every opportunity . There were 4 elderly lifts for the 15 floors in the hotel but one had to be completely sealed off for major rebuild after breaking down and stranding
residents for up to half an hour. We were especially sorry for the staff who were doing their best under difficult conditions.
The management of this hotel should hang their heads in shame. Wild horses would not drag us back to this sad place.

just returned from the princesa dacil on 13th feb 2010 on arrival staff were very freiendly and we checked in no hassle we were lucky enough to get the first floor as there are fifteen floors.so if you dont like heights be sure to request a low floor the hotel was spotless and we went all inclusive and you have everything you need there for your enjoyment even bottled water was in the all inclusive and certain cocktails food was good you could always find something to eat that you liked its a great location and only a short walk to most things if you like indian food the star of bengal is definately worth a visit you need to look about as there are some bars doing beer for one euro which is good as hotel prices are quite high entertainment was ok we didnt stay for much of it but something different everynight overall a very nice friendly clean hotel and i would definately go back

I went to the princesa for my friends 18th not knowing what to expect of the hotel as we booked it two days previous to flying after around 20 minutes of being in the hotel we realised how good it was. The all inclusive drinks are amazing they have almost any drink you can think of on the all inclusive just a spanish equivalant and bottles of water and san miguel. The food was nice always something to eat however near the end of the week we started to see some simmilar things.
The pool area was really nice we saw that the pool was cleaned everyday and the day time activities were good the night time entertainment wasnt great consisted of bingo at 9:00 followed by a half hourish long show of something. However we met lots of people there which entertained our nights instead.
** A must do in the area of Playa las americas, Siam Water park**
On the whole was a great holiday would deffinately go back!

We have been going to Princesa Dacil 3 times a year since 2001. It is a great base to all the amenities in Los Cristianos. We always have the same room and on arrival we always have water and fruit sent to ou rooms. I must admit last year was a bit of a let down due to the credit crunch I think. They introduced all inclusive if you so desired but really they didnt have a clue. We always go out of a night time and return for a couple of gin and tonics and a bit of abnter with waiters and bar staff but we found that the only bar that was open was outside and closed at 12 oclock it really spoilt our holiday (this was June 2009) When we went in Novmber of the same year it was much better after I had completed survey they sent to me online. We are going again in a couple of weeks which I love out of all the weeks we go to Tenerife. The usual crowd are ther who like to play bingo and have a natter with everyone, me and my husband feel like teenagers and we are in our fifties!!!! They have an organist on wach night and everyone loves the dancing we usually get back for the last half hour and I love to watch and sometimes they get me to join in. I must say over the last year it has been very quiet in Los Cristianos with a few places we loved closing. We like to have a drink in the Miners Retreat and then watch the show in Dreamers Bar. We always like to wathc Cy Benson, Rod Stewart and Freddie Starr. Whatever people say if you love the resort you will always want to come back and we do!!!

We have just returned from a week at the Princesa Dacil hotel and we will never be returning. It is the second time we have been to this hotel, the first was six years ago when it was okay if very old fashioned, as the location was good we decided to go again.
We had the Deluxe, Superior room - ha, what a laugh, it was a bigger room but there was nothing deluxe or superior about it, the only advantage was the hairdryer in the room as oppose to hiring one. Everything has to be hired including the remote for the TV, no tea making facilities, no frills.
The food was appalling I don't know how people can say that the food was good, it was warm but none of it was ever hot and such bazaar combinations like cauliflower with the breakfast?? I had gastroenteritis and was very ill throughout the one night, I told one of the reception staff that I wanted the bathroom to be disinfected but it was never done, following this I had to spend new years night in hospital, I cannot say for sure that it was the food in the hotel but I didn't eat for the rest of the holiday.
I have never been so happy to come home from holiday.

I am disappointed to see the reviews made about this hotel. You get what you pay for. It was reasonably priced, well actually quite cheap for a weeks half board. Yes its a bit old fashioned, but its clean and very well located. I found the food great, but others in my party found it repetitive, but I can only say this is because they are unadventurous in their diet. I would say if you only like english food dont book half board. Every day there was a different fish dish and even fresh griddled squid. Perfectly located for beach, bars and shops. I do agree with some comments made by others, the hotel could tidy up outside a bit. You would expect the front of the hotel to be enticing, but its a bit dingy and they've stuck the bins to one side, noisey when filling and emptying.
Cant really comment on the bar and entertainment as i go on holiday to go out not stay in the hotel. Rooms cleaned every day and fresh towels. I would stay here again, it is ideal if you just want a central base. I would recommend booking the room with a lounge, you get loads of room.

3 of us adults stayed here in febuary 2010, we all agreed it was the worst all inclucive hotel we have ever been in. it gost us over £500 each for one week and when we got to the hotel the 1st thing the saff at the desk said was that we were economy class?, we didnt know where to put our faces, how can they charge that sort of money and say that, the rooms they gave us we small and faceing what can only be described as a tip, it wasnt clean, the food was ok but nothing special, we might there was very little local drinks to choose from. might as well have gone halfboard, the staff were not helpfull in anyway, infact it seemed as if you were all inclusive, u were served last. the entertainment was the same everynight, if you have kids they will hate it, its more for older people. we are all in our 50s and have been to a lot of places and for us all to agree this was the worst is saying somthing. NEVER AGAIN.
