A very friendly hotel which provides a comfortable, warm and welcoming base close to the ski slopes.
The main bar and reception area have recently been refurbished to a very high standard, and whilst the rooms are a trifle dated they are always extremely clean and warm. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with either a bath or a shower; there is ample hot water and beautiful cotton towels. Many rooms have a small balcony overlooking the little river and main streets. (Both of which are quiet.)
The dining room is lively and the menu - chosen at breakfast each day - is hearty and traditional. Fussy eaters are catered for!
Many of the staff are from the Belotti family and in particular Rosa is the linch pin of the operation. Nothing is too much trouble and the atmosphere is relaxed and very informal.
We have returned over and over again to the hotel, we are greeted like favourite relatives on a visit.
Pricewise, the Park Hotel is extremely competitive and enables us to ski more than once a year.
Overall, a fantastic base for enjoying winter sport, but if you're looking for luxury, probably not for you.
