We have just returned from a week in the Galli Apartments in Livigno Italy. These apartments are horrible, they are dirty and far too small. There was one wardrobe in the entire apartment for 4 people. There was one double bedroom and two matresses on the floor in the living area. The bathroom smelled like stagnant water and the electrics were dangerous.
The brochure states that 'due to their location above Marco's bar these apartments may be subject to some noise'. I have never before read SUCH an understatement!! We were kept awake every night until 4 am by the loudest music you have ever heard, and as if that wasn't enough we had drunken people trying to get into our room and banging the door down. There were people being sick on the entrance stairs (which are indoors) and the smell of smoke was repulsive.
We are a group of 4 snowboarders who like to spend all day on the slopes, enjoy some lively apres ski and then return for a good nights sleep in preparation for the day ahead - this was too lively for us.
There was a family with children in the apartment next to us who were also very unhappy with the accomodation. I can not believe that the brochure does not state that these apartments are unsuitable for children!
We have been to Livigno twice before and have always stayed in the La Gualt apartments which are lovely, just goes to show that you should stick with what you know!!
On a positive note, Livigno is a fantastic resort it always has plenty of snow, has a lovely atmosphere and plenty of nice hotels and restaraunts. Avoid the Galli Apartments, there are plenty of nice hotels in Livigno.

Perfect hotel for the younger end.
The staff are fantastic and the meals were more than adequate; the rooms are not great but that's not why you go!
We've now been a couple of times and will definitely go again.
If you want doorstep skiing and to party until the early hours then this is definitely the place for you!! This hotel is not for the faint hearted or early to bed.

We originally avoided the Galli Sport as there were published reports of noise. Airtours, however, made an incorrect booking and what a week of noise we endured, every morning until 2 am.
The staff and management were uncooperative and would not reduce the heavy bass as often requested. The latter would probably have solved the problem.
The food was quite good, reasonably cheap but limited and, in general, I would suggest that one should avoid the Galli Sport.

Hotel 'Galli Sport' and Hotel galli ar two different hotels and owned by different people. Same name but not in it together..Also they are 15- 20 mins apart.
I have just returned from the galli sport after visiting there many times with my ski group. The rooms are basic but warm and cosy with an excellent maid service. The food there is brilliant. In house meals superb and boy what a location. Smack bang on the piste. Simply get up in the morning.Woof down a breckie take a short walk to get on the sking tackle and off we go. Hit the pistes then whizz across back to the hotel for Happyhour in 'Gallis pub' at about 5.30 ish... Ok it can be loud at night but thats what we wanted and so do many others.. One thing to take not of is that this year the ownership has changed and deffinately for the best... Long gone are the famous curtains and now its been tidied up a little it looks better.
Now wait for this... aparently the whole building is going to be flattened and a state of the art pub restaurant erected. Its about time as the old place needed a change.
Location..Short walk to the center to the many dutyfree shops and cheap goddies..
Overall Livigno is a top place. Long transfer from airport but you can minimise this by going to innsbruck on a low budget flight and getting a bus from 'silvestri' busses in livigno. we save shedloads of cash.
