Marlita Beach Apartments, Protaras, Cyprus
Hotel Information
Hotel Description:
The emphasis as soon as you arrive here is fun. There is something here for everyone, the children clubs will entertain the youngsters whilst you can join the activities around the pool or chill out on the beach. If you can tear yourself away, get ready for the evening entertainment including a Cypriot night and karaoke, perhaps that's why couples without children love the place too!Nearby Hotels Viewed by Other Travellers

" our holiday "
Submitted By: melly20it was fantastic we both enjoyed ourselves. the hotel is spot on and always very clean. the staff and maids ae always very friendly and the rooms were always stocked each day. we both believe the hotel deserves more recognision than it is getting as the pool and facilities are fantastic. we both will be definatly coming back next year to the same hotel and we cant wait. the entertainment staff were also brilliant they kept us very entertained. even though we were self-catering the last three days of our holiday we did eat at the hotel and the food was fantastic their was always something their for everyone.

Submitted By: Mr B LEESEWe were given a room in C block room looked ok,this was ground floor studio ,first thing you noticed on arival was a very strong musty smell, for a place with these kind of temperatures you would never beleive it could be damp.Next day we asked for someone to check it out never saw anyone attend to this but didnt hold much hope as this problem wouldnt be sorted overnight . This hotel is not a four star a three at most the rooms in C block need a good refurb as i only saw this block ,talking to others they had a similar opinion too .
In general the hotel is nice entertainment is good ,food is good and staff are friendly and pool and grounds are excellent.

Submitted By: Ms A WebbFood served was basic but large portions. Drinks reasonable with 2 happy hours serving really cheap cocktails. Staff on the whole friendly but didn't see much of rep. Entertainment not very good and didn't start until 10pm each night. Which is too late I think if you have kids. There was bingo and a disco for kids while we were there. The main public area needed a revamp with more comfortable chairs it was all very basic with a big TV screen showing football matches.
I too never saw pool being hosed down which is done with most pools also met quite a few who were using pool who were not staying there.
In Protaras highly recommend eating at Oscar opposite McDonald I asked 2 taxi drivers where they would recommend to eat and they both named this place. They were right and the cuisine was mainly Italian but best food we had all week and very reasonable.
Protarus itself is full of British pubs and karioke bars. Not much 'Cypriot' influence if you are looking for that. Think next time I would go for somewhere more authentic but still enjoyed it.

" Was at Marlita last week in May... "
Submitted By: Mr E BROWNEThe rooms were cleaned almost on a daily basis and towels changed regularly.
We walked a few times into Protaras main shopping area, were there were plenty of shops and restaurants, but also found lots of good food in the local general area of Marlita , the food inside marlita was also worth a try.
The only problems we encountered were on arrival and departure , we were delayed both ways
I would recommend Marlita to anyone planning a relaxing holiday

Submitted By: Mrs A RobbieI must say I was a bit apprenhensive about the previous reviews I had read about this particular location, Ican only say please take all with a pinch of salt.
We have had the most relaxing week, We were given a one bedroom apartment, very spacious with small kitchen with cooking facilities, all clean and wanted for nothing in the way of utensils. our apartment was kept beautifully clean with daily maid changing towels, beds twice and always with a smile.
Nice little friendly restaurants within walking distance, Protaras a 5 min taxi ride away costing about 7 euros.
The pool areas were spotless - with loads of sunbeds, parasols etc. There were other grassy areas which you could use if you so wished. The poolside bars etc. were clean and served good edible food - with chatty staff
ONE COMPLAINT WE HAD WAS THE AIR CONDITIONING COULD BE COOLER - I WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK - Well done Marlita Staff for all your work.
