Taxacherhof Hotel

Breakfast is advertised by hotel as an overwhelming choice. What this means is that there are a few cereals, dried prunes and apricots, processed meat and cheese.
Every day being the same. A profusion of flies over the meat as not covered except by a half hearted attempt to cover with cling film. Rolls, wheat biscuits, and butter. Squash drinks.
Dinner is not served with vegetables which were as rare as hens teeth. No salads were displayed as a buffet for the two weeks we were there. We were served salad on two occasions.
The Tyrolean Farmers buffet which was supposed to be offered each week was never offered.
The reference to the Chef de Range, is misleading as his efforts seemed to be directed at the private and separate restaurant in the hotel.
No washing facilities at the hotel for washing out clothes. The Turkish steam bath and solarium were closed.
Room keys left on a board outside of reception and open to any stranger who might wander into the hotel.
Reception desk and office were normally not manned. Choose another location.
