We have just returned from a ski holiday in Kaprun and used this bed and breakfast, unsure about what to expect when paying such a low price. A very friendly welcome from the family and all the staff we met while we were there, all using English when our efforts in speaking german were failing. The room was spacious, virtually immaculate, had a great bathroom with plenty of hot water. To our surprise, the room was cleaned every day, the towels and linen were changed daily too. The breakfast was as expected a typical good Austrian buffet. The location was perfect, less than 20 seconds walk to the ski hire shop/cafe and bus stops to both ski areas Kitzsteinhorn and Schmitten which were ten minutes away on the free buses. The beginner slope was a few minutes walk away, perfect for a family with small children learning to ski. There were no noisy bars too near by, but they were close enough to wander back from if a little influenced by the local spirits. Ski equipment storage and boot warming rack in the lower floor were useful. We had access all hours and were suprised to find the breakfast laid on for our early departure (6am) on the last day.
