The hotel is in a great location but it's dirty the cleaners only changed the sheet once in 2 weeks. The breakfast was disgusting you even had to ask for orange jucie, the staff were rude and not helpful. Gumbet is such a great place and this hotel was horrible. Don't be put off Gumbet, Gumbet is a really lush place good for families and young people.
- Advice: Dont Stay in this hotel but resort is lush

on booking our holiday last sept 2009, to go june 28 2010, we booked 2 double rooms 1 with cot downs stairs, both with pool view if possible, on arrival at hotel my son &partner with 11month old child were given an upstairs room, which had 2 flights of marble steep stairs, my husband complained and asked were our room was was told down stairs so we swapped rooms, my sons room had 2 single beds and no cot, we complained and was told a cot & double bed would arrive tommorrow this thing did arrive what was surposed to be a cot it was a metal thing held together with tie wraps, with a hole in it and looked dirty, the baby did not sleep in this it was not safe but this was all they had, so each night she had to sleep with one of her parent in a single bed, they had a balcony, but could not see out as there was a large bush outside blocking any view, our room was upstairs with no balcony, looking out of our windows we looked out onto a white wall which was the side of another block of rooms, this was in no way what we expected we were very disappointed with our rooms, people whom we spoke to at the hotel had booked there holiday last minute and ended up with luxury rooms, we did not expect the ritz but wanted decent rooms, this totally spoiled our holiday each room we booked was surposed to sleep 3 people ours could but my sons room was so cramped not recommended as you could be very dissappointed on arrival

Four of us stayed at the bagevleri in july, and had a lovely holiday, pool is fantastic with childrens pool too, all staff are very friendly and helpful the breakfast is continental and basic but you can purchase english breakfast and other things aswell at reasonable prices, hotel is well positioned for all amenities, resort has something for all ages, there is bar street that is quite noisy but plenty of other places to drink and hotel is good for drinking too as we spent many a night back there till early hours. all in all a great holiday, so much so we have booked for next year.

as ever i returned to bagevleri and enjoyed a whole month there. if you like a big impersonel hotel dont come here, a small and friendly family run hotel. they are always willing to help if needed. nice pool area with surounding gardens and fruit trees. If you want a relaxing holiday you can have it here, but if you want a little night life gumbet and bodrum on the door step. The best hotel in gumbet by far.

what can i say about this hotel
Its FANTASTIC been going to gumbet for 16 years and this hotel is the best so far.
We love everybody there as there all so kind and are always happy to help. Fatamah, hadi, mustafa, franki and Renzo are all like family and welcome us each year.... I dont know how anybody can sit there and say that this is the worst hotel they have ever stayed in because each and every person that works in this hotel puts their heart and soal into makeing your stay the best.....
The rooms are cleaned every day (sometimes it can be a pain if ur like me and stay in bed till 11 each mornin because you didn't go to bed untill 4 the night before hehe) fresh towels and sheets are put in your room every morning and the maids are great as well......
The resteraunt is 5* and they do a great Chicken ala king, My mum said the steak was great...
When we were over my mum and dad arranged a birthday meal and party the meal was held in the hotel resteraunt and Renzo,Franki and all the staff ensured that we all had a fab time.....
There was 18 of us at the dinner table and every meal was made to perfection thanks to the kitchen staff who work sooo hard day in day out

Just returned from a week at the Bagevleri Hotel, what can we say except fantastic. The hotel was just as it looks on the website, the rooms are reasonable size and very clean and airy. The pool is well sized for the grounds it sits in and the childrens pool is totally sectioned off from the main part of the pool by a fence barrier. Sundbeds around the whole of the pool and large pillows where you can totally relax. The rooms as we say are adequate and bed was comfortable, shower was lovely and roomy and the bed was made everyday and towels changed. We had a room overlooking the pool and it was a pleasure to sit out on the balcony in the evenings looking over the pool and gardens. It was surpisingly quiet considering it is so close to the centre of Gumbet. Typical Turkish breakfast which was enjoyable and healthy but full english is available. The Staff were fabulous and so helpful, we arrived nearly 3 hours late with no Turkish money and the reception paid for our taxi when we got there and didn't even worry about booking us in, just gave us the key and took us to our room. If anyone misses this hotel off there list of places to stay in Gumbet then your mad, make sure you give it a visit, we were so pleased that we are taking the whole family back next year and we can't wait. 10/10 Fabulous

Gumbet is too expensive, a night out costs an arm and a leg the food is expensive too although some of it is very good.
It's a real hassle going out whether to shop or eat you can't stop to look at a menu without them hassling you to go in, same with the shops if you stop to look they're hassling you to buy it all gets to be a real nuisance.
Booking a trip is just as bad and there's really not a great deal of difference in the prices, you'll find they take you here there and everywhere trying to get you to buy ceramics, local wine etc before and after the trip.

Not the best hotel in Gumbet it's as basic as you'll get although in a good location. cleaning isn't good but the restaurant is excellent and pool is fine with plenty of sunloungers.
If you've ordered satillite tv it's very difficult to get and they can't be bothered with compaints, i had a £20 english note stolen from the baggage room so be careful.
I'd never stay here again if i return there are many hotels superior to this one.

couldn't have asked for a better location in Gumbet. Right next to the beach and all of the shops and bars, but far enough away that you don't hear anything once you have returned back to your rooms. All of the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. This is especially Renzo, as he helped us book our day trips and helped us in eveything that we needed. Rooms aren't spectacular, but clean, and had everything that you needed so no complaints there either. Would definately recommend visiting this hotel, i will certainly be returning myself.
