" what can i say about this hotel
Its FANTASTIC been going to gumbet for 16 years and this hotel is the best so far.
We love everybody there as there all so kind and are always happy to help. Fatamah, hadi, mustafa, franki and Renzo are all like family and welcome us each year.... I dont know how anybody can sit there and say that this is the worst hotel they have ever stayed in because each and every person that works in this hotel puts their heart and soal into makeing your stay the best.....
The rooms are cleaned every day (sometimes it can be a pain if ur like me and stay in bed till 11 each mornin because you didn't go to bed untill 4 the night before hehe) fresh towels and sheets are put in your room every morning and the maids are great as well......
The resteraunt is 5* and they do a great Chicken ala king, My mum said the steak was great...
When we were over my mum and dad arranged a birthday meal and party the meal was held in the hotel resteraunt and Renzo,Franki and all the staff ensured that we all had a fab time.....
There was 18 of us at the dinner table and every meal was made to perfection thanks to the kitchen staff who work sooo hard day in day out

Submitted By: laura32wrinklesIt's a real hassle going out whether to shop or eat you can't stop to look at a menu without them hassling you to go in, same with the shops if you stop to look they're hassling you to buy it all gets to be a real nuisance.
Booking a trip is just as bad and there's really not a great deal of difference in the prices, you'll find they take you here there and everywhere trying to get you to buy ceramics, local wine etc before and after the trip.

Submitted By: laura32wrinklesIf you've ordered satillite tv it's very difficult to get and they can't be bothered with compaints, i had a £20 english note stolen from the baggage room so be careful.
I'd never stay here again if i return there are many hotels superior to this one.

Submitted By: Miss M WallaceThe rooms had air conditioning and were very clean, the pool area was always tidy, the food was lovely (we only had one evening meal outside of the hotel, and were disappointed that we hadn't stayed in!), but the best thing about the Bagevleri is definately the staff. Renzo, the Manager, couldn't do enough for us, Sonni was an extremely attentive waiter, and Peter (Ulan) the 'unique' barman made us laugh from morning till night. We have never laughed as much in our lives! They really made our holiday.
Like many people who visit the Bagevleri, we will certainly go back.
See you all soon and thanks again for a fab fortnight. X

Submitted By: Mr J FinlettThe hotel was noisy throughout the night and the couple in the room next door decided to argue at 3 in the morning after returning back drunk! The pool is tiny, as are the rooms and whilst on the subject of the rooms, these were dirty, smelly, the shower didn't work properly and there was NO air con, even though temperatures where up in the 30's!
I would never return to this hotel again! Not even if I was paid to do so! If you can afford decent hotels, then stay in them! 2 star! Not likely! This hotel isn't even worth 1 star!

Submitted By: Mrs A CaugheyThe hotel is situated close in the centre of Gumbet, but in saying that you were always able to get to sleep. There were 3 families in our party with ages ranging from 13 - 68 (from Liverpool and Northern Ireland).
Nothing was to much hassle for Fatima, Hadi and Renzo. The rooms were clean bright and spacious. The maids were in every day and your towels etc were changed every other day.
We had friends staying in another hotel and their pool was tiny so Fatima let them come down and spend the day around ours.
The food in their restaurant is one of the best in Gumbet - their steak with prawns was to die for.
The hotel also organise boat trips with Halil and Mehmet Akbaba, excellent family day out - especially camel beach - the ice cream there is to die for.
Gumbet can be a bit hilly but if you go in early/late season the hills aren't to bad (if you have no walking difficulties).
What more can I say LOVE Gumbet, LOVE this hotel give it a try!!!!!!!
