Hmm, where to start!
Overall I did enjoy my stay but that, I feel, was down to the company and not to this hotel.
I booked this online and received a good discount, this is the only reason I am giving this place a rating of 5, if I had of paid the full price I would surely have been cheated.
The service was poor, with reservations being lost, exorbitant reserves taken off credit cards without our knowledge, overpriced room service and minibar prices so steep that you are left believing their regular clientele must be Donald trump or Michael Jackson in his heyday, however how any of these people would be taken in by this place would be a mystery
The hotel itself is unimpressive from the outside and marginally lessy shabby on the inside, what more can I say? The Hilton is 2 minutes away, who thought you could save yourself so much grief in such a short time span, go to the Hilton, its the same price but a world of difference.

Amsterdam was a very big surprise - not just the red light district and cannabis as everyone associates with it - beautiful architecture, quaint bridges, cafe culture, clean lots to do, lovely shops, museums, great tram system, loads of restaurants, clean and friendly people. Would recommend.
Bilderburg Gardens is in a quiet residential area easily got to by tram. The hotel was clean and friendly.

The hotel looks nothing special from the outside, however on inside the place is amazing, the decor is modern and yet still warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, the rooms are immaculate and bar service was first class.
The hotel restaurant was superb, if a little expensive, the food was sensational and the staff were excellent.
The hotel is a fair way out of town, about 10-15 minutes on the tram, but there are some fantastic stops along the way, which no doubt you would miss if you were staying closer to the centre.
I booked my stay at the hotel fairly last minute so the price was reduced considerably, I wouldn’t have chosen the hotel if I was paying the full cost, as it is rather expensive (and that’s before you see the cost of the mini bar and the room service), but it is a five star hotel, and both the service and the accommodation support that.

My wife & I stayed at this hotel earlier this week. The staff were friendly & helpful and were forthcoming with information on Amsterdam. However anything you bought or used in the hotel was exhorbitantly priced. Euro 22 for 24 hrs use of the internet and one phone call for a minute to Rotterdam was Euro 10 ! In our opinion that was daylight robbery !
We didn't bother with the breakfast because that would have probably costed an arm & a leg !
We probably will not stay at this hotel again unless the hotel decides to charge more realistically for their services.
