went here last year and we had a great time, clean nice and well looked after ...NOT THIS YEAR ..the pool was horrible yes the leaves were took out every morning but it was horrible you could see the scum around the edge of the pool !! plus the cats were drinking out of it... more

The best 2 star I have ever been. It must be AcuariosSol 2. All apartments face the pool and the sun. Most of the people we Spoke to had been here several times. Others, including ourselves would come again. The poolside restuarant serves great food at competetive prices... more

just returned from acuario sol 1 apartments was there for new year myself husband and 10 year old son first room we got was 202 overlooking a bin on the road and over the toilet block not pleased so asked to be moved they told me all was full i was not giving up so 1 day... more

Stayed here for a week the apartments are basic but clean you get clean towels every two days & clean sheets every week you have to rent kettle and toaster plus if you want air-conditioning you have to rent a fan. The main puerto del carmen is only 5mins walk away. There... more

we stayed in these apartments for two weeks what a joke the pool bar was never open and when we went out the cleaners would clean and leave the windows open also there was a 15 pound charge for a kettle and the service we received from thomas cook was crap would reccomend... more

we have just come home and sad to be home the appartments are very clean spacious and cleaning service was in our experience first class very polite and kind people..... i have never been there befor but can say id stay again.... the euro is no difrent at tne min to the gbp so we found it no difrent price wise than here.. the down side was that the strip which is just a 10 min walk away was all dug up and quite an eye sore but will look very nice wen finished i didnt like the restrants and bars constantly touting for our buisness its ok... more

Just arrived back from this hotel and had an amazing time. After living in Puerto Del Carman for 18 months previously, I had heard of the reputation of the hotel and break ins especially, but it was a bargain and was plesantly suprised! The apartments were spacious, clean, on the basic side but we didnt mind that. The maid came every day to clean. I was with another friend and there was a mix of couples, familys and young people on the complex but it was peaceful and a real holiday atmosphere. No break ins or trouble of ANY kind whilst... more

i have stayed at this hotel a couple of times it is very privite and clean . just a 10 min walk to the main strip ,bars shops and restrants .keep am eye out for the cats as thay will come into your room if you lave the door open you can catch ring worm off them. you can not go to worng whith this hotel .i will be back soon

Me and my partner (20 and 21) just came home from a week staying in these appartments. We both lead very busy lives at home and love to chill out for a week. The appartments were clean and tidy, thought you have to hire a kettle and toaster and a tv remote, they take the buttons out so you cant use the tele without one. We didnt bother to hire one, thought we met a couple that had and they informed us that therw were only two english speaking chanels available so i wouldnt waste your money on getting one. we (young couple, late 20's) have just returned from a week at the acuario sol 1apartments & would happily return. the apartments are located about 5 mins walk from the main strip, but are still quiet at night. the pool area at these apartments is quite small, but you have full use of the larger pool at acuario sol 2 apartments which are 100 yards up the road. the larger pool has a snack bar serving all the usual goodies. the rooms themselves were clean and fairly spacious. maid service was every other day and towels were... more

Normally I can stretch to one holiday per year but in early 2007 my girlfriend and I booked two holidays at once. Gran Canaria was first choice for my routine two week holiday in late August when it is cheaper with less children. Lanzarote was second preference for a one week holiday in mid -December to escape my disliking of the pre Christmas hype. We has stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and were so impressed decided to book again. The Apartments are exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything you require for a self catering stay. It is less then 5 minutes walk from the main shops and restaurants, so close enough to get to everyting but far enough away to not get any noise.
