I will start off with the bad things... we stayed in the self catering apts, it is very noisey. me and my friend are young people in our twenties, and even found the noise loud on some nights, with doors slaming and girls screaming. The night porter was useless, and didnt deal with this. The beds are rock hard, and you have to pay a deposit for a kettle or toaster (which u do get back) the swimming pool is not that nice or clean, so we spent most of the time by the sea.
On a good note, the hotel is well situated, right on the beach, and only a 10 min walk to the west end, and 2 big clubs eden and es paradis are only 10 mins away. The maids cleaned our room every day for the whole 2 weeks!! The bar staff are great, especially Richard! The food is lush there, we never ate out as the food was sooooo good! and cheap too!
On in all we had a wicked holiday and would defo go back to Ibiza! But if you want a quiet holiday I would proberly say to find some other apartments!

Just come back from a week at the Ses Savines. Hotel was good value for the money the down side the hotel was full of younger people who loved slamming doors all night and shouting, hardly got any sleep the whole time I was there. On the plus side the staff were very friendly and you cant blame the staff for the conduct of guest who don't give any consideration for other people who don't want to party all night. Younger people are more suited to this hotel as it is right on the beach and in easy access to the west end were all the action is but if you are over 50 the hotel Arenal is the sister hotel and is better suited to your needs but 4 star and more expensive. On the whole a good budget venue for people who can sleep on a clothes line.

We (my two friends and I) booked this a year in advance we decided on the ses savines as it was simply just a cheap package holiday and we were really wanting to see ibiza and drink and club and weren't too fussed about the hotel. Here are a few truthful tips about the ses savines hotel/apartments:
Food
Food wasnt what is was made out to be... we ate out most days and ofcourse missed our breakfast because we were never up, when we did make it down it wasnt anything to scream about and didn't look too appetising. The evening meals were OK they were edible, but we were just looking for a place to sleep so this didn't really bother us.
Service
The reception desk were pretty shocked when we used to wonder in at 7 o'clock in the morning and used to give us some funny looks however the security guard was worse! He actually refused us into the hotel one morning as he was arguing we weren't staying there, we eventually got in by showing our room key to prove we were actually staying at the hotel, this was wierd becuase we had been here a couple of days and had seen us come in every other morning..strange. The restaurant staff don't really speak and the man that shows you to your seat is abit grumpy but we just laughed it off, the table cloth's were never changed in our whole weeks stay.. We were dressed up one night and had neon paint on us and some came off on the table cloth and was still there at the end of the holiday!. The bar staff are by far the best! they were always churpy and would always speak to you. The maid's were rather miserable too... they walked in when my friend was naked and getting changed then just carried on tidying the room, they were abit cheeky..didnt knock etc. The reps were great and offer tou various nights out, it is alot cheaper to buy your club tickets from them as it saved us about £100 overall!.
Location
This was the best aspect of the ses savines, probably why so many young people were staying there it was about a 10 minute walk from the westend and right on sunset strip next to alot of chilled out bars with hammocks etc. Es paradis and Eden are about a 5 minute walk along the beach so are ideal, if you are getting a taxi from the westend to Amnesia or Priviledge it is about 10-15 euro, not much at all, however we did not go to Space of Pacha as it was across the island near playa den bossa and would have cost a fourtune!.
Rooms
Rooms were....hmmm.... basic is the word im looking for, wood shutters that did not shut properly, we were over looking the apartments that got rather rowdy at about 9 oclock in the morning, not what you want when you just want a few hours kip! The apartment had a few little ants but we only ever seen about 10 at most, the balcony was huge! bigger than out room! the balcony bar was hanging off though... good job kids werent in that room or they would have fell off eventually! We had what we nicknamed the 'lover pool' right outside of our balcony it was quite remote the pool for the apartments really this is were lads and lasses would come back and you know... lol, got a little annoying eventually we had to chuck wet tissue balls of them to pack in becuase it was about 8 in the morning.
All in all we were just looking for a place to catch a few winks to get us ready for the day and night ahead again, the hotel problems didnt really bother us as we just laughed them off and we got it for nothing really, there was alot of young people around the pool and sometimes difficult to get a sunbed. I honestly don't reccoment this for older people or families as it may not suit to your taste, its basically a club base for alot of people and noise is constant especially in July when we were there, you would'nt get any sleep. For those young people looking for a place to sleep, a good location and to meet a few people and have a laugh this may be the hotel for you.

We were very disappointed with this holiday - Holiday Power.Com sold us a weeks holiday staying in the Ses Savines and described this as a 3* hotel with air con. On arrival we did not have air con and the room seemed very basic for a 3*. We complained to staff at the hotel who can only be described as rude and totally uninterested. After several telephone calls to Holiday Power.Com we were transferred to the Ses Savines sister hotel which did have air con, good food and friendly staff. Upon returning to the UK we discovered Ses Savines is only a 2* and we complained in writing to Holiday Power.Com, who have not even been decent enough to reply. Please therefore be warned if booking your holiday with them you may not get what you have paid for !!! Matthew & Jodie

We have just had our best holiday yet at the Ses Savines - the hotel was clean the towels were changed everyday and all the staff were very friendly.
The food was fine for the money paid but was a little repetetive. The breakfast had a great selection of food but was often luke warm but still enjoyable.
It is in a great position for all san antonio and the bay and isnt too far away from all of the main amenities.
Our room was on the car park side and we didnt have much of a noise problem - no more than anywhere else Ive ever stayed!!
We have booked again to go in June to the ses savines apartments this time so I would highly recommend it to anyone!!

this was my third time staying in the ses savines hotel in san antonio and would return again and again!!!! i am suprised to read all the comment placed on here!!!!!
the ses savines has a great location close to all amenities, the west end is a short walk away along the beach front. on the way there are plenty of bars and places to eat. lots of shops and a long pier is in the west end. the pier is great to have a stroll along day or night and watch the boats come in and out the port.
the accommodation is very clean and spacious. rooms cleaned everyday.
the food isnt great but you can make a meal out of something. the food can not be that bad as a couple sitting next to us were in a hotel down the road and there food was horrible and they were paying to eat at the ses savines.
if you are planning to stay at the ses savines its a good idea to request a sea view room. believe me the sea views are out this world!!!!!!!!!!!!! remember your camera.
the bar staff are GREAT!!!! they are very helpful and extreamly friendly!!!!!!!they love nothing more than to stop an chat and have a laugh and joke with you.
if you have booked or are going to book a hoilday in the ses savines then dont stress or take note of the other comments on here. like i said i have visited here 3 times once in sept 2006, oct 2007 and aug 2008 and would have no worries about going back again. me and my 2 close friends who i visited here seperatley with both enjoyed their stay at the ses savines too.

I spent a week at Ses Savines Apartments with my 2 friends, we had a fab holiday but this had nothing to do with the accommodation! On arrival we were searching for the controls for the air con, the remote for the TV and also the kettle and toaster only to discover a small slip of paper informing us that we had to pay extra for these items.....25 Euros for the toaster, 25 Euros for the kettle, 12 Euros for the ac and 8 Euros for the TV (we think the ac was charged per day!)!!! We were fuming.....this is a self catering apartment at least a kettle and toaster should come as standard! Out of spite we refused to pay for anything and decided to sweat it out for the week, make toast in a frying pan and listen to music!!!
The apartments were situated directly next to the hotel of the same name however there was no apparent swimming pool for the apartments?! There was a tiny pool opposite the entrance but this was on the site of the hotel along with a pool at the front of the hotel but we were never told if we could use these facilities? In the end we decided to use the beach because neither of the pools were that nice and sun beds were limited!
One day we asked the hotel to call us a taxi, the woman on reception asked for 30 cents? We laughed and asked why, she said that’s how much the call would cost, was she having a laugh? It wouldn't even cost that in rip off Britain! We paid the money but when we asked for another taxi a few days later and the guy on reception called one without hesitation.....she had obviously been taking the piss!
We had an excellent time in Ibiza but that’s only because we saw the accommodation as a place to sleep and get ready so we didn't let it get to us and we were only there for one week. The Spanish obviously see the extras as a way of ripping the British off at every available opportunity and for that reason I would seriously question whether to return, despite having loved the island!
On the plus side the room was clean and the maids were excellent however the facilities, in particular the kitchenette, were very dated and it was in desperate need of a refurbishment.

I have just returned from this hotel with my husband and daughter 16. The only good part about this hotel is that its clean and the staff are pleasent. There was no entertainment during the day whatsoever at this hotel, If you wanted entertainment on the night you could either stay in this hotel or go to its sister Arenal. But to me you shouldnt have to.I wouldnt go 2 weeks again because what you see the first week you see the 2nd week and also the food is terrible. If you like chips then its your place if not your lost. Its no good taking children. Make sure you have a bum bag or a close bag because the samarlies over there pick pocket 24 7. They asked us if we wanted charlie( if no one knows what charlie is its drugs). The hotel room was fitted for 2 person because it was dead tight. Only got bit a few times but nothing major. They expect you to buy their beers which costs a bomb! When you can go to a shop round the corner and buy 24 cans for 13 Euros! But your not allowed to take them in. Also your not allowed to put your towels out to reserve your beds until 9 ish apparently. Cant fault the location. If you walk up to the west end then keep your bags close. Taxi's from this hotel to Ibiza town is 25 euros. If your a clubber then i would advise to take alot of money because its 50 euros to get in most clubs. You have to travel to get a good beach like Bora Bora. I wouldnt go here again because its very expensive and its not family orientated. To Majorca i go next year.

Just back from a fantastic 2 week holiday at the Ses Savines hotel with my husband and 14 year old son.
This is a lovely hotel for a 2 star, rooms were basic but we had fresh towels and the room cleaned every day and an amazing view across the bay. The food was surprisingly good with plenty of choice for all tastes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I broke my sunglasses one day and a member of the bar staff tried to fix them for me and eventually gave me a pair from behind the bar. The entertainment was very good although we only stayed in for it a couple of nights.
This hotel is ideally situated for the West End and also the quieter area further around the bay. The only thing I would say is if you are a light sleeper this is probably not the resort for you, as the noise between 5am and 7am is horrendous with all the clubbers coming back from a night out at this time. (still you could always do what I did and buy some earplugs.)
All in all we had a brilliant time and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just come back after spending two weeks staying at Ses Savines Hotel, Ibiza. The hotel is on the beach and easily accessible to the sea. I travelled with my disabled mother who is in a wheelchair and everywhere we went was easily accessible. The hotel was clean and food was good. The waiting on staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the heat in the rooms, no airconditioning. We could have had air con but at 100 euros per week decided to hire a fan which in all honesty was not much good. We stayed at the Ses Savines last year and was surprised as to how much things has gone up, the sun loungers on the beach had gone up from 3.50euros to 4.50euros, the brollies were also 4.50euros each. Everything in general in Ibiza has gone up in price a pair of flip flops 10euros, can get the same ones in matalan for £2.50! We did notice that the hotel was only two thirds full, but this made it better for us, perhaps the cost of everything when you get there is putting people off?
