Sal Rossa Apartments

Just returned from a week at the Sal Rossa. We thought it was excellent and very good value for money
SAL ROSA – Situated in a cul-de-sac, so quiet, but very close to shops & restaurants. Food is cheap and large portions. Drinks are as cheap as anywhere else. The pool isn’t large but adequate. It is literally three steps onto the beach. Staff very friendly.
ACCOMODATION – Some reports have said that it is a bit dated. We found the opposite, so it must have been re-vamped. Bathroom, large & well equipped with a bidet and even a hairdryer. Bedroom very comfortable. Only one pillow each, but extras provided on request. Not many hangers, so bring your own. Kitchen modern & well equipped, even a corkscrew. There is a TV with Satellite. Only Sky News & BBC News. You need to scroll through the Spanish TV & radio before you get to it. Radio channel 8 is the most English Music Radio Station. Although the planes are very low it didn’t bother us as it is only for a few seconds & the transfer is very short from the airport.
D’EN BOSSA – Loads of restaurants, mostly serving the same, but there is a Chinese which was very good. Found the Iberic (Go straight on & then to the right & it is in a side street to the left towards the end of the town) Very friendly and excellent Tapas. Best rates for Cash Exchange was the Car hire place (Go straight on & it is on the corner). Supermarket opposite, but best price for booze was one opposite the water park. €7.45 for a litre of vodka. For those who smoke the ciggies shop is go straight on & turn right. For a nice trip into Ibiza Town turn left along the beach & walk for about 20 mins. for the Water Taxi.

I first went to this place two years ago on my own as I needed to recharge my batteries. I found it to be in a lovely location, staff were really nice and looked after you, apartment was great and all in all it was a lovely experience. I then went again last year and it was just as good. Again on my own but still as much fun. This year, yep u've guessed it, I'm going again - in 10 days time lol lol I now class this place as "my holiday retreat" - get up, have breakfast by the pool, sleep by pool, lunch by pool, another sleep then back to apartment to get ready for the evening. What more could you ask for. Shops are really close by for all your needs and restaurants too. This is the sort of place where you're not made to feel awkward being on your own - you can do what you want, when you want. A really lovely, relaxing environment.

I got bback from the Sal Rossa today. Went with my mum and sister and we had a great time.
The location is fabolous, being on the beach and a short distance walk to the shops and restraunts. Also just a 10 minute walk down the beach to catch a boat to the beautiful Ibiza town.
The food was amazing, the best food ive eaten at a hotel abroad before, and being a fussy eater, it was really nice. the bar staff and chefs work really hard and are very pleasent.
The maids were really friendly and cleaned our room every other day and changed our towels, which in previous experience at other hotels hasnt occured, so we were pleased with this.
The entertainment at night time was good; accomodating for all ages. They had a parrott show, a singer, a dj and a hypnotist on during my stay there.
Overall, I couldnt mention 1 fault about the hotel and will definately recomend to friends, or go back again...if your going to Playa Den Bossa, stay at the Sal Rossa :D

The kids loved it, which ment that me and the wife loved it! Very clean, great location right next to the beach, just around the corner from the main high street, a few minutes walk to the water park, and a 10 minute bus ride to Ibiza Town.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
This was our 3rd visit to Sal Rossa, and the high standards of staff service has always been evident, which is great for appartments, even better service than some 4 star hotels where I've stayed. The appartments are now equipped with Air Con' which might be well worth the 5-6 euros per day charge come July/August!
There is some noise from aircraft as the airport is a few miles away, but I really did not notice this at night, and anyway I love to sit on the beach watching them landing.

This was a brilliant holiday. If you go to Ibiza Sal Rossa is a must. Appartments are very clean and better than most we've stayed in. Room service is great and the staff are all very friendly. the bar staff and Jordi the cook are brill. Don't eat out stay here. The breakfasts are amazing you will see! prices for other meals served all day and late till night are very cheap, so if you've a large family it pays to eat in. Its much cheaper than buying food in the supermarkets. Drinks at the bar are also very good and the bar staff are fab always smiling and singing. The poolside is great and right on the beach. Beds were always available. Entertainment also good.
We've just returned from a week (October 2009) Have been to Den Bossa in the summer but never in October. This was the last week of the season. So... if you.ve got young kids or want to go clubbing bear in mind Bora Bora, Space and the water park are all closed now. Its very quiet with most of the pubs and shops closed. Not the loud hype you get in the summer. We had no kids with us this time but will be great in the summer when we will def return to Sal Rossa. If we can get booked up that is. Most people there return year after year so that says something about the place. We had a very relaxing holiday and the sun was still hot. The temps were still up to 27.
Would defo recommend this to you.

I stayed at sal rossa from the 21st of august for 2 weeks and it was the best time ever. I steyed there with all of my family and they all really enjoyed it. The hotel was amazing and the rooms were pretty clean. The bar staff were all really friendly and helpful and always put a smile on my face especially Manuel who is one of the bar staff. He was very kind and always had a smile on his face and made everyone else smile aswell. i missed him loads when we came home. Two nights before we came home everyone was by the poolside because there was a singer on and because fellow scoucers were going home the next day they all decided to jump in the pool and then i think everyone followed lol. The bar staff even threw some of us in but in the end they all ended up going in aswell even the cooks lol. I would recommend this holiday to anyone and everyone because i had the bst time ever. If i had to rte this i would rate it 11 out of 10. Cnt wait to go back xxx

hi stopped at sal rossa with my partner and son .arrived aug 22 not heard out about sal rossa before .what a great holiday we had sal rossa appartments are clean very friendly staff nice little bar food in the bar are is spot on got the old favorite a fry up unreal better than you can get here. you step off the poolside on to the beach couldnt ask for anythink better went out between 9am and 10.30 most mornings and stil got sun longers .if you want a nice quiet holiday you carnt beat the sal rossa i booking again for next year marks out of ten i give 11 steve c middlesbrough

I whent on the 8th August and stayed in room 224, and we had 1 of the best views we looked out on2 the sea its worth goin just 2 look at the big expensive yachts. It was the BEST time of my life, the apartments were spot on, it was in the perfect place only 3 steps away from the beach and 5 mins from the really good bars. The food was out of the world, really nice and cheap the same with the drinks, my Sex On The Beach lol. The staff made the holiday even better they worked their backsides off and always had a smile on their faces, they always had me laughing even when i was hungover in the mornings lol. If your wanting 2 be by the pool you will have 2 be up quite ealry as the beds go really quick, but its well worth it, the pool is nice and cool (NOT COLD) the perfect temp for them HOT days just 2 go and jump in but once your in its perfect. The rooms are very clean we got fresh towels every other day aswell as clean sheets, shower curtain, and even a new toilet seat when we arrived. They were always giving us toilet rolls, its the first holiday that we have been on that we havn't had 2 buy any. There is entertainment on just about every other night although it might not be for everyone, the parrot and reptile show is really good for kids and the hypnotist is a really good family show to watch. There is also a massive TV in the bar area if you want 2 watch sumthink they will put it on for you. The area is nice aswell we whent around to afew pubs but found them quite expensive, but there is 1 pub you MUST go 2 and thats Big Bens, what a place, outstanding, the staff again really great especially Crystal, entertainment everynight and free shots when you go in. I read alot of bad reviews about the place and all i can say is they are rubbish, its without a doubt best time of my life. Im going back either September or October and cant wait. So all i will say is Sal Rossa "HASTA PRONTO". xXx

we went on the 8th august 08 my husband and i my daughter and nephew my sister and husband and her daughter, the second week my sister and husband her son and my son and nephew came the appartments were spot on very clean we ad sea view which was brill the staff never stopped working,they always ad a smile and happy to help you, the cook was exellent evan though she was on her own, the food was really nice especially the bacon over all spot on ;the entertainment was brill the bloke who took elvis off wot a voice he was really,really good and could he move,he was on the last night ov our hol and wot a good night we all ad,the water park was only 1o mins walk away thats a good day out ,the weather red hot every day, wot more could we ask for,i would like to thank you all in sal rossa for a fantastic holiday and i would be defo going back so for now addios amigo.

Stayed here for two weeks with my husband and 13 year old daughter, and had an amazing time. We would give the bar staff 100% (Jordio and Manuel), and the food was also 100%! Where the apartments are situated is everything that you would want in a holiday. Clubs and bars for everyone. Big Ben is fantastic and Bora Bora is great if you feel like partying during the day. We would definitely visit again, and recommend it to everyone. Our 19 year old son is coming over with us next year and is bringing all his friends with him. Hope to see you all out there!!
