Green Beach Hotel

with my sister for 8 days in green date hotel.The room was very bad,dirty the shower dirty.Bed was like stone.Towels dirty and once a week we get fresh one.Breakfast was very simpel.Disco's donwstairs till 12.00. we should recommended it to nobody !!! go somewere else 11

My boyfriend and I, arrived at this hotel on the Sun 19th Jun and first thoughts were the hotel was busy and room was clean. Whilst asleep on the Monday 20th we had been woken up by the fighting of staff within our hotel and the hotel at the left hand side - glasses being smashed, chairs being thrown as staff running around with machettes. To top it all off police arrived to calm the situation down and had to pull out guns. Due to all this, we checked out the next morning and staff were very rude and unwilling to listen to our concerns, not refunding air conditioning - not even an apology given for the disturbance. The hotel staff are not interested with who stays in the hotel but more interested in putting people from the beach or walkway. I would not recommend this as staff are rude and clearly don't care about their behaviour.

I went to Green Beach hotel with a friend last summer. The location is good if your after a lively holiday as it literally right on the beach front the music from the hotel went off around 12am, so before that dont expect to get any sleep before that! what really let this place down for me (other than the swimming pool which is probably the worst Ive seen)- was acouple of the staff who were rude and hassled you everytime you wanted to leave the hotel- I had actually read this on watchdog before going on holiday and thought 'it cant be that bad!' - well actually it is! anybody who has had a really good holiday here has just got lucky I think! One member of staff in particular (the one shouting ice cream all day on the beach) was really rude to me. He offered me and my friend a ice cream on the beach - which I politely declined- he then told me to 'shut up' so loud that other people turned round and looked- he wasnt joking either!he then walked off muttering in his own language probably something rude about me.. Shame because there was also alot of the staff which were okay. The rest of the holiday I avoided him completely- to anyone who is going this year -hopefully he has left! Breakfast was extremely basic and I only ate in the evening once at Green Beach and didnt bother again- there are some much nicer restaurants to eat at. The room was ok - no problems there really. I paid penanuts really to stay here so you do get what you pay for- but even a cheap holiday you shouldnt have to put up with abuse from staff!

ı would lıke to say fırst ı vısıt turkey 3 tımes a year and always stay at thıs hotel,not only ıs ıt rıght on the beach and close to all shops,bars and restrants they also have free ınternet and play statıon for the chıldren, the staff here are really nıce and always happy to help you wıth anythıng

Hey just wanted to let everyone know a great place to go to when holidaying in Marmaris Turkey.
Green Beach Hotel/Bar is a must - you will find this on the beach front - the place is buzzing.
The gorgeous Memhmet is always outside on his microphone keeping the party going.
All the bar staff and waiters are fantastic - they are all so helpful, polite and so entertaining always dancing around the tables and on the stage.
Great shows on there every night. Entertainment can not be beaten a great variety of things going on.
A really must go to see place when next in Marmaris you will not be disappointed.

My family and i originally booked to stay at Sun Gezgin which is next door to this hotel,however sun gezgin was awful!!
Anyway,we saw this lovely hotel and the fabulous pool and just knew we had to try and transfer into here. We had no trouble whatsoever, we got 2 rooms as there were 5 of us in total to accomodate.
I have to say, I really don't understand how anyone can write a bad review about this hotel!!I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels all over the world, this was a 3 star but it could easily pass for 4 star.
It is spotless! very clean, the staff are some of the best i have come across in all the places and countries i have been to. They were brilliant. I took 3 kids, ages 17, 13 and 9yrs. All of them loved it. My 9yr old was never out of the pool, in fact she came home a much better swimmer than what she was before we went there. I have the pool to thank for that.It wasn't huge but it wasn't tiny either and it was warm.
The meals there were the nicest we hadin marmaris. We were bed and breakfast so we ate out every night and a couple of nights had our evening meal at the hotel. It was a bit more expensive but truely the food was much nicer and like i said,its more 4 star than 3 star,it was delicious. I am only sorry we didnt eat there more often.
The entertainment was good, had same shows on mostnights but still really good, so much that the kids refused to go anywhere else for entertainment, they would not move from the hotel once the entertainment started!
We really couldn't of asked for a better holiday and we have the staff at this hotel to thank for that and the management, this is a beautiful hotel and it is a credit to the management. We are suppose to be going to florida next year for 3wks but the kids have said they would rather go back to this hotel next yr for 3 wks instead.

staff dragging people physically off the street so they could get their commission for every person they could get in their restaurant. The food was not cooked properly and prepared in a dirty small kitchen the waiters slept outside the kitchen on benches and the area around the kitchen was full of rubbish.
on one occasion after one of the waiters had dragged a young boy into the restaurant area and forced him to buy ice cream the Turkish tourist officials arrived to tell them off for the way they force people into the restaurant following a complaint yet that same night there were to young girls dragged off the street and sat on by waiters till they ordered a meal this hotel shows 3 stars in my book it would have minus 3 stars . I was told before I went to Marmaris it was a very nice place to stay. Well with staff like the ones at Green Dump the resort is spoilt and the people of turkey should be ashamed to let the few ruin the names of the good people of Marmaris.

After looking at all of these reviews before we went we were very exited to stay at green beach hotel and we agnored the bad coments, but we regret this so much! the only good thing about this hotel was the location.
staff- ok when you are buying off them, want nothing to do with you if you go somewere else at night, which we did as we are a young couple and didnt fancy seeing the same old rubish entertainment each night. You where second best when people from outside the hotel where there, also they pretended they did not understand english when u asked them some things!
food- we felt like porpers, we payed for half board and ate here once and just had rice, no toasterr!! so it was bread and butter for breakfast! tea was awfull, we dont know how they could even think about serving this! it ruined our holiday as had to pay to eat out every night and we couldnt do the things we wanted to, the staff expected us to buy tea of them and where very funny if we didnt, but we were so dissapointed with the food we were not going to spend any more money on them!
room- very small, got given single beds and they wouldnt do anything about it. Balcony could only fit one of us on it. Shower door hanging off! not safe at all! had to pay extra for air con (45 lira), but when not in room it turned off straight away! sheets where never chnaged just made on the bed!
pool- like a bath and very dirty! steps falling off,, not safe!
do not use the mini bar, costs a fortune!
3 lira for a bottle of water in the day on the beach!
!!! do not pay for the turkish bbq night, comlete rip off, was up being sick all night!. They plated food up for you, most of it salad and bread, no different entertainment, not worth 5 lira never mind the 25 lira we payed each !!!
we brought one meal here as we were very tired after a boat trip we had one look at the half board food and it was fish soup, chicken casarole, but it was just fat on a bone! so we got food off them! very expensive could have gone to a swankey resuraunt and got a 3 course meal for the price we payed!
if looking for a quiet hotel do not go here, music played untill 12 and night, really loud and no way of blocking it out, and then it quietens down after thattime as there is a new law out there on the beach front, but shouting singing to all hours.
spent out nights next door and malabu beach with our turkish friends from june this year, and then went to bar street and pacha, marmiris is a amazing place, so gutted with the poor hotel as ruined the holiday! going back again as soon as possible! but not going anywere near this dirty money eating hotel!!
sorry this is wrote in capitals, forgot to turn them off, and dont want to rite it all again, but if you do go to this hotel be prepared to eat out. Very good loaction and nightlife around the hotel.

My family and I have been going to this hotel for many years. This year was the best ever.

im just back from this hotel , i was a bit wary when i was booking it .we were a family of 5 which included a 15 ,16,10,yr olds who are very hard to please ,but these kids didnt want to move from the hotel till the entertainment,had finished.the entertainment staff are excellent ,very hard workers and would do anything for you .i cant wait to go back next year .and a special thankyou to memet the entertainment manager for organising a cake for my husband on his 40th birthday to anyone with kids tis place is ideal for a family ive been to turkey 5yr running and this is my best holiday ever thankyou to all green beach staff for making my holiday jane .
