I went to Las Vegas with my partner and chose to stay here as we were seeing Elton John at the colosseum (definately worth seeing!!). The hotel was amazing, I have never stayed anywhere like it-inside there were statues, fountains, a shopping mall, many restaurants and the... more

Wow, what a place! Even if like me you are not a gambler, there are so many crazy characters and people to watch in Las Vegas. The shows (paid for and free) were fantastic and Caesars Palace is out of this world, with its luxury spa rooms, huge casino and shopping mall -... more

After reading some online comments we were a little apprehensive at staying here. However we checked in at the airport and were upgraded to a better room as the hotel was pretty full. The room was in the Augustus Tower and terrific. Our advice would be to eat in Cafe Lago... more

In my opinion this is THE place to stay in Las Vegas. We felt it was excellent value for money - we managed to get an upgrade to a more expensive room. Room was very spacious - two huge beds. Bathroom had a TV in it! Hotel is in an excellent position on the Strip. ... more

I would definitely recommend a stay at Caesars Palace when visiting Vegas! The hotel was completely out of this world, with fantastic and, in some cases, bizarre facilities. The hotel pool complex was amazing, with Greek themed statues and pools- it was tranquil and a nice... more

Very Poor Service
We recently took a trip to Las Vegas with another couple. We were celebrating my husband's 40th birthday and the other couple was celebrating their 13th anniversary. I told everyone we should go to the Sports Book because it was really nice last time I was there. Unfortunately that must have been a while ago. The Sports Book had become much smaller and the service was very poor. When I found the manager for the Sports Book he was combativeand rude about my concerns on lack of service. Unfortunately this attitude was all throughout the hotel. Needless to say we would never recommend this hotel again. I was embarrassed I recommended it in the first place.
Caesars Palace
Just came back yesterday from Las Vegas. We had used AAVacations to book a flight and room for a good deal. I'll will agree with previous reviews that the Forum Tower is not the greatest. It does not have views - just of other buildings that have been built in front of it. I will say the room was good sized, clean and neat, with a nice size bathroom. I was on the 14th floor but still no view. I tried to get another room but nothing was available. I'm sure if I offered to pay for an upgrade, I would have been moved to another tower which may have been nicer but I chose to stay where I was. The casino was nice and, I thought, easy to get around. The Forum Shops are convenient. Caesars is in the middle of the strip so it is very close to other casinos and the expressway to get downtown. I would recommend Caesars to others as a solid choice but I personally will stay at another hotel in the future. After seeing other hotels, I found that there is a hotel for every taste. I think Mandalay Bay has more of a resort feel to it. While Bellagio has a more refined, classic feel. The Flamingo just looked fun! Some hotels seemed more for the business traveler/conference attender. Other hotels seemed to work for the 20-somethings. I think it's a matter of personal preference and budget when choosing where to stay.
shuffled around
Our group of 10 expected a smooth process to obtaining our accomodations as we had booked our room 5 months in advance. Upon arrival, we were notified that the hotel had overbooked and our rooms had been moved to a subquality hotel off the strip. Our rooms would be be paid for by the hotel and a nice dinner would also be thrown in. Being unacceptable, we talked to a manager who didn't seem seasoned enough to handle these difficult situations. His only alternative to moving us, was to offer us roll out beds in a large empty piano room, and passes to the gym to shower and for restroom facilities. We asked to speak tohis manager. It tuned out that we received nice accomodations for one night, there at Caesars then had to move to rooms in the Forum Tower the next day. These rooms were not the rooms which we originally reserved. Very old, dirty, outdated with no view. We were collectively dissapointed.
Pay for the upgrade.
I travel to Vegas way too often and have stayed at almost every hotel on the strip. I LOVE the rooms in the Palace Tower, but HATE the room in the old tower. Let s start with the Palace Tower. The bathrooms are bigger and more beautiful than some of the room that I have stayed at in Vegas. The décor is great, it is so luxurious you just don t want to leave. The old tower on the other hand, is in major need of a face lift. The bathrooms are very old and the décor is not very attractive. Still better than a lot of the other hotels in the strip, but once you stay in the newer towers there is no going back. Now about the hotel. It is right in the center of the strip, so there is no complaining there. They have some great restaurants, and also a food court with fast and cheap food. I love that because some of the other higher end hotels only offer sit down expensive meals. The pools are nice, they have a topless one in the back which I think is great, but if you have kids, you might want to stay in the front. The forum shops are great. They have lots of great restaurants and stores. Very easy to spend the whole day or your whole pay check there (which ever comes first). All in all, this is a great place to stay. It is an old classic that will always remain one of the best. Just please try to stay in the newer tower.
Seeing Celine...
We went to the Celine show and were very disappointed. She sang well, but as we sat in the upper tier seats - we barely saw her. This is a big theatre, and the way the upper seats are set up - if someone in front of you is a little taller than you - you barely see anything. Also, you are sitting directly under the air conditioning blowers. Wear a coat and hat!!!
Caesars, the only place in town!
I have been staying at caesars palace for the last 4or 5 years and go twice a year. I have stayed at Treasure Island and also Circus Circus(when I didn't know any better) but nothing compares to Caesars. Iam not a big gambler($50-$100 a hand bj, 5 or 6 hrs a day) but my stays at the palace have never been disappointing. When I walk in the door I feel like I'm home! From the pit boses to the dealers to the waitresses and the cleaning crew, everyone is very nice and remembers my name. the rooms in the palace tower are beautiful and very comfortable and the service is always 110% to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend the palace to anyone looking to see how vegas should be BIG JIM T
Great food, nice rooms, friendly staff
Stayed in the Palace Tower. Large rooms with excellent bathroom area. Rooms were comfortable, quiet and well appointed. Caesars fine restaurants and bars gave you little reason for leaving the general area. Excellent shopping in the Forum. No real deals but wonderful high end stores for the shopping junkies. Celine show was exceptional. Plan on high stakes for complete comps; quite a bit higher than some other strip hotels and much higher than downtown. Dealers and pit bosses very professional but still friendly. We had a large group and were all impressed with the service.
Don't buy tickets to Celine...
Celine Dion was the reason me and my family took a trip to Vegas this weekend for my mothers 50th birthday. We were never notified until we arrived at Caeser's at 7:30pm on Dec 6th that the show was cancelled. They took no responsibility at all and wouldn't even let us use there house phone to call around and see what other shows in town still had tickets left on a Saturday night at 7:30pm. The whole thing was very poorly managed and someone has to take responsibility. Caesar's claimed to have no responsiblity as Celine rents the space from them.
Be ready to walk
Stayed in a Palace Tower room over Thanksgiving week. The room was fairly large with a very large bathroom. Each day we found the room to be very clean with all of the essentials. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very quiet at night. Casino is very large and nice but limits are high all of the time if you play tables. The sports book was great....comfortable chairs and a flat screen TV for each group of 4 chairs. Only real downside is the walking.....very, very, very, far from the front door door to your room. The entire place is very spread out so to go from place to place inside Caesars will take time. Overall I liked the hotel but it is on the expensive side....if you do your homework you can stay somewhere just as nice for less $$$$$........
loved the ceasers palace and Celine
A reviw of vegasI was in vegas for 5 days September 03 and though we didn't stay at the Ceasers we did see the Celine Dion show and thought it was superb. The kindness and consideratin extended to us byall the staff since one of our party was in a wheelchair was nothing short of excellent before, during and after the show was finished. One reviewer said the staff were offish! and moodybut we found them to be polite and friendly at alltimes.
