" I went to Las Vegas with my partner... "
Submitted By: Miss J Smith
I went to Las Vegas with my partner and chose to stay here as we were seeing Elton John at the colosseum (definately worth seeing!!). The hotel was amazing, I have never stayed anywhere like it-inside there were statues, fountains, a shopping mall, many restaurants and the room which was in the Augustus Tower, was a really good size with a very spacious bathroom. The location was also great as we were in the centre of the strip and we are not gamblers at all but there was so much more than that to do. A visit to fremont street and dinner at the top of the world restaurant at the Stratosphere is a must as the food is quality and the view up there is amazing. We managed to get round all the big hotels including The Bellagio, The MGM Grand, New York New York, The Venetian, Treasure Island and The Mirage (just to name a few!). Out of all these, despite each one having a great atmosphere, im really pleased we went for Caesars. I definately want to go back someday!

Wow, what a place! Even if like me you are not a gambler, there are so many crazy characters and people to watch in Las Vegas.
The shows (paid for and free) were fantastic and Caesars Palace is out of this world, with its luxury spa rooms, huge casino and shopping mall - their toga dressed young waiters even come by at the pool to give everyone chilled grapes roman style.
Apparently there are no locks on any doors in LV - because they never shut! I can honestly say I had the best time of my life, but had very little sleep (too nosey for my own good).

After reading some online comments we were a little apprehensive at staying here. However we checked in at the airport and were upgraded to a better room as the hotel was pretty full. The room was in the Augustus Tower and terrific.
Our advice would be to eat in Cafe Lago for the buffet breakfast at $15.50 + taxes say $20.00 inc tip. The best slots to play are the 1c ones you can both have a good amount of fun and enjoy yourself at the same time also making $2 to 300 dollars reasonably easily, as long as you play, the drinks are free brought to you by waitress service!!
We also went to the Grand Canyon but if we go again we will take a helicopter trip so that we would see more. The fixed wing aircraft was good as we over flew the Hoover Dam but you don't see all the canyon form the observation areas as you would in a helicopter. We also visited Freemont Street where the odds are better and the free light show on the covered street was brilliant.
We also saw the The Beatles 'Love' show by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage which was absolutely brilliant. We had expensive ($165.00 each) seats only 3 rows from the front but the seats surround the stage so a good view can be had from all the seats. After we had a meal in the Carnegie Deli where the food is very good and the portions are huge, beware!
Finally we travelled by Delta and all I can say is never again. We had delays, cancellations, very poor in flight entertainment and food, we finally arrived back in the UK around 24 hours late which took the edge of a very good holiday.

In my opinion this is THE place to stay in Las Vegas. We felt it was excellent value for money - we managed to get an upgrade to a more expensive room. Room was very spacious - two huge beds. Bathroom had a TV in it!
Hotel is in an excellent position on the Strip. Fabulous shops in The Forum - if you join the casino comps scheme you can get some discounts in the shops as well. They're opening a Tiffany's shop this year (2007). Have a look at the "living" fountains as well - fabulous.
Good variety of eateries.
Shopping - take the bus to the Fashion Mall (near the Wynn Hotel).
Outlet Shopping - go to MGM Grand and there is a shuttle bus to take you to Primm Outlet Mall.
Shops include GAP, Old Navy, Ralph Lauren, Sketchers, Converse, etc. You'll be able to find coupons to get you a discount on the bus ticket.
Grand Canyon - take the helicopter trip. We did the overnight stay to the ranch - would recommend this.

I would definitely recommend a stay at Caesars Palace when visiting Vegas!
The hotel was completely out of this world, with fantastic and, in some cases, bizarre facilities. The hotel pool complex was amazing, with Greek themed statues and pools- it was tranquil and a nice retreat form the busy life out on the strip.
The hotel is right near Vegas' best tourist attractions and in the centre of the action! The room was modern and well furnished with a gorgeous bathroom - complete with a sink TV! Worth a visit.

Took my husband here for his 40th birthday lovely hotel we were upgraded to a larger room overlooking the pool area.
The pool area is very tranquil and relaxing this is our first time in Las Vegas and the Caesars Palace is in a perfect position in the middle of the strip. Lots of building work going on but you never even notice it.
The shopping mall is huge and a wide choice of shops to suit everyone. Excellent service by all staff.
Would highly recommend this hotel.
