Disneys Boardwalk Inn Hotel

The Boardwalk Inn was beautiful, my husband and I were first time visitors in April 2003 we did a honeymoon in Disney and we loved it so much we are going to try Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort for out 1 year Anniversary!!

We stayed at Boardwalk villas in November 2003. We love Diseny World and are frequest travelers to the parks, but this was our first stay at Boardwalk. We were impressed with the lobby and theming of the resort. The pool theme is great and the kids had a great time on the Big Clown slide. The lifeguards were phenomenaol with the kids. The location is nice to walk to Epcot and take a boat to MGM. The rooms were a nice size and clean. However, it just didn't have that "Disney" feel that most of the other resorts give me. We were disappointed in our stay. The service was lousy at the hotel and Spoodles restaurant on the boardwalk. Disney cast members are not friendly as they used to be. While the location was great, it just doesn't have that Disney charm, nor did any of the parks, sadly to say. I'd rather vacation where I'm truly treated as a guest, not an inconvenience.

This is a very nice resort with a very realistic and enjoyable theming based on the original Boardwalk. The resort has a great circus-themed pool, and has very easy access to Epcot which is a walking distance from the Boardwalk, there are several shops, restaurants, and enterntainment on the Boardwalk. Although I have to say that i still do not think that any Disney resort can beat the Grand Floridan, but i still give this Resort 5 stars because it still has the magical Disney touch which brings life and enjoyment to all just like any other... more

Disney Vacation Club, BUYER BEWARE. What a disappointment. The rooms in the Boardwalk are old, small and very tired. I could have overlooked all of that but the place was very dirty. We even had ants in our room. I tryed to work with the staff but they were very rude and not very helpful. Disney is very outdated. Do not fall into the disney vacation club game, it is poorly managed and not worth the money. The service was so bad we finally just checked out. Our stay was from Sunday Feb.23rd to Wed. Feb 26th, 2003 Immediately upon arrival my wife noticed that there was broken glass on the bathroom floor, the kitchen counter had not been cleaned and there was an empty potato chip bag laying on the floor next to the couch in the living room. On the 2nd morning of our stay we returned from breakfast to find two maintenance workers removing the handicap seat from our shower. I spent a romantic week at the Boardwalk in, and it was everything I could have hoped for and much more! The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The boardwalk is entertaining and extremely different from anything I have ever experienced. If you're looking for a place to enjoy the company of business-oriented adults while still experiencing all that Disney has to offer, then the Boardwalk is your kind of place. In early December 2003, we spent three splendid nights in the Boardwalk Inn. The rooms were very well-appointed, spacious, quiet, and very clean. While the room was somewhat short on amenities (no coffee in the room and no complimentary coffee in the lobby) there were compensating features; for example, we could watch the Epcot fireworks from our own balcony, and Epcot and MGM were each less than a 10 minutes walk. We stayed at the Boardwalk in the last week of October and had a miserable time. The front desk service was poor, and we had to call down three times to get a bedrail. Although the room had a child size daybed, which was great for our 2 year old, they did not have the right size linen - so her feet were in the air with folded king size sheets under the foot of the mattress. We just got back from a short stay at Disney's Boardwalk Inn. This Disney Deluxe Resort is themed to resemble Coney Island in the 1920s or 30s. The archietecture of the resort is built to be impressive and spacious. The entire place looks beautiful at night due to the millions of tiny white lights that the Inn is wired with. The actual boardwalk is great, and transportation to Epcot and MGM is either by water taxi or walking paths.
