Ever wanted to get away and relax in...

Ever wanted to get away and relax in total luxury, with all you need at hand. Then this is it. I could right page after page on how great this resort is, but i just don't have the time. Words that come to mind are excellent, outstanding, immaculate, curtious, friendly and pure quality etc etc... From the tour operator very first contact, to getting home this was by far the best alround vacation experience i have ever had. Fly from Manchester to Abu Dhabi (with Ethihad Airways - who are as good as any), transfered via private air conditioned car to resort (took about 45 mins, no longer than any usual transfer) but Etihad much cheaper than Emirates Airways, but same service. The resort comprises of 3 main accommodation, we selected the Mina A Salam, but were upgraded during the Ramadam season for free to Dal M Saf. Private butler between 9 apartments. The food was tremendous with around 45 resturants to choose from, (yes in the same hotel) and the size of the place, along with the neighbouring Berj Al Rab and Jumeriah Beach Hotel, adding even more to the stretch, this is truly a must place to visit.

Dec 2007, Mr I Dyson

This really is the ultimate in luxury and service, 5 stars really does not do it justice, the standards go way above any I have encountered before.
From the limo that whisked us to the hotel from the airport to wonderful staff at check in and every part of this resort nothing is left to chance or unthought-of, the rooms are beautiful with a stunning view of the Arabian sea and the nearby Burj Al Arab hotel which is quite an experience.
There are countless restaurants and shops in the complex, all of a very high standard and even when you go to the beach they cannot do enough for you and genuinely seem to want you to have a great time, you really should see Dubai, and this hotel is the only place to stay.

The Mina A' Salam truly was a pleasure to stay at.
We stayed for 7 days as part of a 2 week trip to Dubai, and we found it catered for the whole family. Our youngest had lessons in swimming and both enjoyed and benefited from the excellent teaching.
We also made frequent trips to the new Mall and also Wild Wadi. Having done all this it was a pleasure to enjoy the relaxing poolside condition the hotel had to offer.
Service wise, there can be no complaints about the staff. They combine speed with the ability to have a quick conversation with you. This way you feel they are not only polite but are doing their best to provide you with great service, and the service truly was great.
Both my family and I recommend this hotel for a great Holiday in Dubai.

Fantastic place to be based as the views up the coast to the Jumeirah beach, and down the coast to the Burj, are stunning.
The Burj at night is not to be missed. Spectacular! The hotel is all about decadence, opulence and sheer 'WOW' factor.
The rooms are not huge, but then how much time are you really in your room? The breakfasts are awesome, so much choice, and I'm a fussy vegetarian!
Yes, I admit, staying at this place, is not cheap unless you managed to get a fab deal, somewhere, but its far less 'pretentious' than the Burj, and has the far nicer pools too.
I will go back, when we have paid off this holiday! But as they say 'you are worth it!'

We have just returned from staying at...

Sep 2006, STANMORE1810

We have just returned from staying at the Mina A Salam for the 2nd year running. Yet again we had a brilliant time, the hotel still has the same superb standards.
We stayed for 10 days this time and packed lots in. Our 5 yr old had swimming lessons and can now swim, visited Wild Wadi-many times, went to the Mall of Emirates, had dinner at the madinat Jumeriah Souk, Jumeriah Beach Hotel, and The Mall of Emirates to name a few, soaked up the sun round the pool and beach etc etc.
The staff couldn’t do more for you the whole time we was there, from iced towels around the pool, to fresh fruit on platters around the pool, to the excellent room service-with chocolates on the bed, fresh towels some times twice a day, candles lit in the bathroom every night, and lovely toiletries every day.
If you get the chance to go to Dubai then this is the place to stay. A quick tip though, it works out better to book a good flight time with Emirates direct and book your hotel separately-we booked with Gulf Tourism who gave us a superb service. The price is better than most leading travel companies.

It is worth visiting and staying at...

It is worth visiting and staying at this most luxurious hotel. The accommodation and staff are absolutely out of this world and there is so much to do within the hotel complex plus we were able to use all the Jumeriah resort offers.
Go and have fun in luxury.
There is an amazing spa in the complex and well worth getting pampered there by going by river boat from the hotel to the spa.
There are more than 6 places to eat and 4 to drink at the resort. Taxi's are just outside the hotel and will take you to the biggest shopping mall which boasts the first ski slop in the Middle East and boy can you just get lost in this mall with places to eat and shop at its a must.
There is also the river bus, its a bus that becomes a boat and you drive around Dubai to sites and then down the river is was out of this world and a real treat.
Visit the Gold Souk and get reasonable jewelry and other Souks that are cheap. A must is to eat at The Fish market restaurant take a basket and choose your own meal from all the fish that is laid out plus the vegetables a different experience indeed.
Arabian Adventures offers wonderful tours at reasonable prices the Dune run is fantastic.
See you there.

What a superb hotel.
We stayed in the Premium leisure rooms, so we had afternoon tec, cakes, soft drinks, sweets etc included-and ot was well worth the extra money.
Traveling round the Madinat Jumeriah Resort on the Abres-water taxis was really fun. The Meat Co restaurant was absolutely superb-the steaks was out of this world!!! Breakfast is superb, all fresh fruit, cooked brekkies, cereals etc
Wild Wadi is so much fun-no long queues, food was good in the park, free entry throughout the summer months.
If your taking kiddies then the Mina a Salam is the place to stay, their are lots of life guards looking out for the young ones, lovely big pools, lots of shade/parasols. We had the opportunity to stay in one of the summer houses free of charge or the Babs Al Sham resort. The summer houses had their own butler and ech group of houses had a swimming pool.
Overall this hotel is beautiful, the staff really wanted you to have a lovely time and did everything they could to make this happen. If you get the chance then you have to go.
