Al-Maha, owned by Emirates airline. What an unbelievable place. It is not by any means the cheapest of places, and children under 12 are not allowed.
However if you want the get away from everything, but not more than an hour from 'civiliasation' then Al-Maha is perfect.
Bvlgari amenities, breakfast, lunch and 5 course evening meal included in the price and a guide who takes you for dune drives or horse riding or many other activities. Personal service, and your own plunge pool in the desert, what more is there in life?
