Hilton Abu Dhabi Hotel

Finding it difficult to add to all the excellant previous reviews. I must add that the staff from Porters to Management without question are some of the most professional persons I have met in a long time. Nothing was too much for them. A special thanks goes out to the Chief of Security Samir for assisting with our local itinary. Well worth booking for Executive Rooms as the Exec lounge is so handy for business travellers.

I just spent two months at this Hilton with a one week break in the middle. The hotel has been renovated in the last few years & generally the rooms are fine. If you want peace & quiet get a room facing the back of the hotel. If you don’t mind traffic noise & want a “view” have a room facing the front. Great hotel, We could not fault this hotel at all. I found that it under sold itself. The rooms were a good size and had tea & coffee making facilitys, iron and ironing board, none of which are stated on the Hilton web site. Food was second to none for ALL tastes. Breakfast was a nice relaxing experience.It reminded me of a London hotel. The staff are wonderful in all areas, they cannot not do enough for you. My wife and I visited the Hilton Abu Dhabi in early May 2007, and had a great vacation. we paid extra to get an Executive floor room, and would recommend this as a course of action for others. The main benefit was the all day supply of complimentary soft drinks and water. Also on offer was afternoon tea and evening alcoholic drinks. I booked my stay on hilton.com. I stayed wth my wife for a long weekend. During my stay I had alook at other hotels with beach facilities to see which hoptel I will be booking for the next stay and I have to say that the beach facilities in Hilton Abu Dhabi are by far the best. Restaurants specially the Hemingways and the Jazz bar were great experiences. My wife loved the Jazz bar and the band playing there. I just spent an amazing holiday with my family. The Hilton has really a lovely Beach Club with a wide number of bars and restaurants, the most cool is the bar in the pool!! My self and my husband enjoyed a very relaxing massage and the Spa. Really first class! And in the evening we have been shifting for a week between the Thai restaurant, the Lebanese, the very nice Jazz Bar and our favorite BiCE the best Italian restaurant we ever tried outside Italy. Our stay at the Hilton Abu Dhabi was guaranteed in a non-smoking room! There doesnt appear to be a single space in this Emirate where non-smoking is acceptable! Check in was a laugh- there was no queue at reception, but we were sent to the Executive lounge, five parties deep! The rudeness of the receptionist there will remain with me forever! I agree with everything in the previous review (An Arabian Adventure). Service, food and room were all fine, although we wished we had chosen a sea view since the "garden/city" view we had was over airconditioning units rather than the garden/city. The Hiltonia beach club was very pleasant, with two pools, lots of foliage and great views of the "Manhattan" skyline. We must admit to having second thoughts after booking this holiday about going to Abu Dhabi but we need not have worried. This is a lovely modern, clean city and appeard to be safe as well. The Hilton is superbly situated on the Corniche, a little way out of the city centre. The service was excellent, the rooms lovely and clean, whilst we had a sea view we did not hear any traffic noise apart from the odd horn or two.
