Park Hotel Beau Site & Villa Park

We stayed at the Parkhotel Beuasite in Jan 06 for a weeks skiing. The hotel was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The tour company brochure claimed the evening meals were 4 courses but there were 6 on average if you include a very comprehensive salad buffet and a cheese buffet to finish. On gala night there were more! The breakfasts were also excellant with plenty of choice. Stayed at the Parkhotel Beau-Site in January 2005 and loved it! My husband and I travel worldwide and have stayed at many hotels - for the money this hotel can't be beat. The food is gourmet, rooms are immaculate & well kept, lovely wellness facilities (3 different saunas), beautiful location, staff very friendly and accommodating (especially Francesco!!) Believe me you will not be disappointed; this is Zermatt's best kept secret ..... ssshhhh.

My wife and I first visited Zermatt in Switzerland during July 2003. We spent a very enjoyable week in Parkhotel Beau-Site. The hotel is situated approx 10 mins from railway station, 5 mins from main shopping street, 15 mins from Furi cablecars and5 mins from Sunnegga rail link. The hotel is situated on a rise so the views over Zermatt and towards the Matterhorn are superb. I would suggest paying the extra for a south/east facing room with a balcony, the higher the better, there is a lift so you don't have to worry about the stairs.... more
