What a great experience it was amazing I would definitely go back next year I really recommend Los Lentiscos.
The water park was great I would really recommend it for anyone at any age the reps Nikki and Colin were really great and although it was a bit noisy at night I got through it . The greatest restaurant was the Grandfather.
Hopefully you take my advice instead of that silly old burgers up there . Go its amazing the best experience I have ever had.
The Soti Studios do not have a swimming pool but they do have a courtyard with sun loungers and umbrellas. The rooms are on the small size but are well furnished and have a television. air conditioning is available at an additional cost. They are reasonably centrally located about 100 yards to the beach and about the same distance to the nearest taverna.
We thought this accommodation was good value for what we paid and was probably equivalent to 2* rating. Golden Beach itself has a fabulous beach which is probably its main attraction and it would mainly suit couples who like a beach life lazy holiday. There are a number of tavernas but none stood out most OK but overall slightly below average for Greece.
A couple of low key bars also. We don’t think children would enjoy it here as apart from the beach very little to keep them happy especially if they are used to fast food outlets as apart from Pizza almost entirely Greek food.

Just what we were looking for, a basic, clean, no frills studio. Anna the owner, speaks good English, her husband does not! The beach is just a cock stride away. The views are either of the hillside (ours), or a sea view. I would recommend room 7 as it has TWO balconies, therefore you can create a 'through draft' hence negating the need to pay locally for air-con! It is very quiet at night, just the occasional dog barking in the distance and cockerels crowing first thing in the morning. It is central for everything, Tavernas, supermarkets, buses etc. I used to go for a swim first thing every morning (walked to the tide in my bare feet, its so near! We tried most of the tavernas locally, our fave was the one at the bottom of the street, right next to the beach, name begins with S. Also for Seafood, try Flisvos, between Golden Beach and Scala Potamia, again, right on the beach, can't miss it. The Seafood platter, though not cheap, is fantastic! Try also Eric's Bar. A delightful man, looks EXACTLY like Eric Cantona....really! And yes, he does cash in on the resemblance.....you can't blame him really. All in all Golden Beach offers a relaxed holiday on a beautiful, fairly quite (yob free) island. Recommended and Setset are a very good company, they used EXCEL airways last year, and they were a delight, none of that ridiculous 'extra legroom' tariff nonsense that some airlines charge. I am quite tall and, providing you get to the check out in good time, you should get it.
