We have just returned from 2 weeks at the moonlight.it is a small traditional greek hotel. Rooms a bit basic and on the small side but very cean.breakfast also basic contiental, but plenty of it. Stallis is about 1 mile from malia but you do sometimes get groups of chavs... more

The advertised description of the Moonlight is astonishingly inaccurate. It speaks of peace and quiet, cosiness and culture not to mention a sea view. Expect none, the hotel is losing its struggle to pass itself off as ‘quiet’ and ‘cosy’ in the midst of engulfing,... more

What a lovely hotel. Small but lovely. Rooms very clean, breakfast continental but a lot of choice (a few boilded eggs would not go amiss though). The owners George and his mother could not do enough for you and were very friendly and joined you at the bar every evening.... more
