The apartments were clean and nice, the evening entertainment was great but the room wasn’t big enough for the amount of people.
The holiday was going well until my daughter got an electric shock on the last night in the reception area the light sockets were all loose and fell off the wall and because it was dark she went to turn the light on and she touched live wires, so be careful of the light switches. There was no-one around to offer first aid, the security guard couldn’t understand English and whilst we tried explaining someone else got a shock. The manager later arrived and didn’t even offer any help or apologies.
Be careful when getting on buses in Salou and around the markets it is full of very clever pickpockets we got pick pocketed getting on a bus.
Also Port Aventura is a nice place but no good for kids under 7 rides are restricted. I would never go to Salou or the Cye holiday centre again.

Great for families, we went and had the time of our lives.
Week was not long enough so am going again in July 2004 for 2 weeks. Hotel was clean, friendly and convenient for beach. Only thing was kids liked to press doorbells at all times.
Have read loads of reviews regarding train line that runs along the back of this Hotel but personally it didn't bother us.
Have even asked to be near it this year as we would rather hear a train then a load of Brits late at night in the Bar!
Kids loved it at Port Aventura and Costa Carribe, did find it was cheaper to buy tickets at the parks rather then pre book from UK. All in all brilliant holiday.

It was our first family holiday to somewhere abroad hot and sunny? We all had a really good time resort was brilliant so much to do and see lots of water sports and with port Ventura 2 minutes away and Costa Caribe massive water park too two day pass about 35 pounds per person two really good days out massive theme park takes two days to get round it hotel lovely really good holiday had by all weather was not so hot this time of year like but still had a brilliant time will go back when I’ve seen a bit of the world.
