We were looking for a good quality hotel that didn’t break the bank as we were going to a friends wedding. We were more than bowled over with the standard at then newly opened Coco Palm which had gorgeous mahogany furniture and highlighted the Creole history on the island. We were in walking distance to the Reduit beach and lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

We didn’t expect St Lucia to have such high standards at such a great rate - £80 per room. Next time I would take a swim-up room or even a suite. Staff very friendly and it is owner managed by local family which felt like we were special guests - more boutique like than big hotel. Definitely would go back. Hotel has great pool, good alfresco bar &amp; restaurant and jazz club. <br>
